> 3 dayPros: pixel shift 4K great color management options pretty quiet great remote built in tv turner great colors but could be brighter unit size - easy to move around rooms Cons: brightness is rated as 1500 ANSI Lumens, after calibration this drops too much, so you’ll lose brightness overall no lens shift just optical zoom so can’t place it just anywhere, no digital zoom nor 4D keystone, just horizontal tvOS is terrible, apps supported on 2019 LG TVs are not available on this 2019 LG projector (stuff you won’t get: Hulu, hbo max, paramount plus, peacock, etc. You do get Netflix and Prime video preinstalled though. Blacks are washed out grey and could be better with better contrast Motion - gosh! This is so so bad that regular content becomes unwatchable, a simple panning or tilting shot is a juddering mess with much cheaper projectors handling motion much much better (the main reason I’m returning after the fact that the product went on an additional 200 off a few days after I bought it.) Sound - not a con as this is in no shape of form to be used with its internal speakers as your main audio

> 3 dayI was torn between this projector and the pricier LG Laser projector. Based on my room I figured the 1,700 lumens would be plenty and the LED vs Laser wasnt enough for me to spend $3K instead of $1,700. Overall I am blown away by this projector. Coupled with my Elite Screen the picture is super clear. It has an HDMI ARC port which makes connection to my sound bar super easy and the remote controls both automatically. The built in WebOS is also huge as I only have one cord going out of the projector and into the sound bar. I can watch Netflix, Disney+, and YouTubeTV (through the YouTube App) with no issues. For the price this is an awesome machine.

> 3 dayCould use more brightness and must be able to adjust the distance between the projector based and screen size to obtain the best quality picture

> 3 dayLG customer support is pretty bad and not helpful at all. Probably will stick with a different brand. I have major issues with the uniform focus across the entire screen. My edges are always blurry and LG tech support was completely useless . Would not recommend this projector ( or brand )

> 3 dayTo begin this Id been looking into projectors for a few years now. I was pretty set on the Epson 5050UB as I wanted great contrast mixed with enough brightness and color for my theater room. I kept saying as soon as the 5050 comes down near the $2,000 range Id be all over it. It never did (as of yet). I started to look around for anything that could be catching up to it at a lower price point. I feel like after an endless amount of projectors I decided between either the LG HU70LA or the LG HU810PW. Amazon day was a big factor for both since the HU70LA was down to $1,200 and the HU810PW was down to $2,200. The specs on the HU810PW looked phenomenal compared to the HU70LA but the $1,200 price on the HU70LA looked great as well. I bought both since you can return for any reason (as long as it has under 10 hours on the bulb) to Amazon and shot them side by side. My wife and I agree that there is MINIMAL difference. Maybe the blacks were a little better on the HU810PW and I think the motion was a little better. That was about it. Ive watched the Epson 5050UB (which is considered the best mid range projector on the market) and I can say I dont regret buying this projector one bit. The colors pop, the cinema modes are phenomenal for movies, the black levels are great....and this is all before Ive even painted my walls OR bought a projector screen. These pictures are shot on my agreeable grey textured walls, and it still looks phenomenal. Everybody thats come over and seen it cant believe we paid $1,200 for this kind of performance. HIGHLY recommend if you have a light controlled room. I cant say anything for outside of that, but I think this projector is meant to be light controlled anyways.

> 3 dayBEAUTIFUL PICTURE QUALITY! I was skeptical about buying a projector, thinking the picture quality wouldn’t come close to a newer tv... I was wrong. The picture is stunning and crisp. There are occasional moments that I notice a little disturbance in the picture. When sun was shining thru the blinds during a scene in breaking bad, the window got all distorted. I also noticed it when the grill of the car came over a hill the grill got distorted as well. Besides those two instances tho... it’s been perfect. Highly recommend. For the price you can throw a 10’ screen on your wall crystal clear.

> 3 dayLa calidad de imágen es espectacular. Fácil de conectar. Si lo cuelgas en el techo debes medir bien la distancia dentro de la que el zoom te permita llegar al tamaño de pantalla deseado. Lo negativo: Apps limitadas (no es posible bajarle la app de Netflix y la de IPTV no permite modificar el lenguaje de los subtitulos)

> 3 dayIf youve been wanting to upgrade your home theatre, this LG HU70LA 4K UDH projector is ideal. Lets look at the ports: - Optical Digital Audio Out - LAN/Ethernet - Antenna/Cable In - Headphone jack (when your family is sleeping) - Two USB ports - Two HDMI ports (one has ARC) - Lightning port Play videos with 3840 x 2160 resolution (thats 4K). Enjoy Netflix or other streaming services in their full glory. Play your Blu-Ray discs. It easily makes a screen that is over 100 inches. There is a built-in speaker that is decent. One of the best features is that it has Bluetooth and Wifi. This allows you to plug into any Bluetooth speaker. I love that it integrates with Google Assistant. This allows you to turn it on and off with your voice. Like many projectors that are under $2,000, it doesnt present a PERFECT image. For instance, if its a fast-moving image, there may be a slight amount of blurring. But if youre looking for perfection, you should spend over $10,000. For 99% of the people out there, you will be impressed. Lastly, it is so bright that you will need to turn down the brightness in a dark room. Its bright enough to be seen in a room with several lights on. Its not bright enough to be seen in a room showered with sunlight or if you place it several meters from the surface you are projecting on. CONCLUSION: For the price, its a great projector.

> 3 dayForm factor is great. Its light and easy enough to hang up in the ceiling. But its tricky to match the image size on the screen with a very narrow zoom functionality. I had to move the projector a little further forward for this to match up. The bulky power adaptor is a pain with ceiling mount, I have it sitting atop the projector mount for now. Plusses: Bright movie scenes are great and color is awesome. LG remote is awesome. Voice command is great. Minuses: Dark scenes are not at all great and blacks are pretty gray-looking and muddied despite a pitch black room and several settings I tried. Not sure if this has to do with my screen which is not the top end of the line. Too bad HBOmax is not available as an app. Bulky power adaptor

Greater than one weekExcelente image and easy to connect to my jbl sound system by Bluetooth. Despite has Netflix button on the remote control i couldn’t find on the apps to install. Weird because i have a LG TV and have more app options.
