> 3 dayi think you get what you pay for and i should have spent a bit more. This monitor while better then the 1080p benQ it replaced, this was not the game changing 144fps monitor i had hoped for. It lacks the visual range i had hoped for but had heard complained about in other reviews ( i should have listened to them) Its not horrid but this monitor could definable stand to have much deeper black tones and better over contrast and brightness abilities. but if mid tones is where your gaming sweet spot is this is the joint for you.

Greater than one weekI bought this monitor to replace a dying monitor, though it ended up as a significant upgrade over the old one. 144Hz refresh rate makes the mouse pointer much easier to find, and Im not limited to 60fps for games. The multiple inputs makes it possible to connect additional devices (I have a Nintendo Switch connected to it in addition to my PC). This is the third LG screen Ive bought and I have no reason to give up on them. My only gripe is a minor one: the placement of the button/nub/whatever you want to call it could be easier to spot. Its on the underside of the bezel below the LG logo. Otherwise, I recommend this screen and I may get a second one in the future to replace another old monitor in my triple-screen PC setup.

> 3 dayBuen producto. Para tener los 144Hz necesitas usar el cable display port que viene incluido, HDMI no sirve para alcanzar esta tasa de actualización a 1440p. Excelente nitidez de la imagen. Lo recomiendo

> 3 dayPicture quality is great but audio out/headphone doesnt work and came defective. It just sends a constant loud hum. I have my PC connected with display port and my Xbox series x through HDMI but the Xbox needs audio through the HDMI to get to external speakers. I wanted to run both audio from my PC and Xbox through their respective cables to the monitors audio out but it is defective. I looked online and found many others with the same problem. It just emits a loud hum and doesnt work.

> 3 dayI got the LG 27GN800-B monitor as a secondary to accompany the LG 27GL83A-B Ive been using as a primary. Its a good monitor like the 83A, with low motion blur when gaming and plenty of features. However, comparing the two, I would say that the 83A is the slightly better monitor: - The 83As stand is height adjustable, the 800s isnt. (Not an issue if you VESA mount.) - The 83A has an sRGB mode. - The 800s HDR support is completely broken. It tries to pretend to be a 1000 nit display and everything looks muddy as a result when HDR is turned on in Windows. The 83A is not great at HDR, but looks a lot better then the 800 at it. - Its harder to adjust brightness on the 800. On the 83A, joystick up/down goes straight to brightness, while on the 800 it brings up a useless accessibility menu instead and you have to go down three layers of menus to get to brightness instead. (Why they didnt put in both on different directions is beyond me.) On the other hand: - The 800 has a black frame insertion mode when running >100Hz. - The 800 audio output isnt broken like the 83As, which distorts everything above 6KHz. Thus, unless you care about the audio output, I would get the LG 27GL83A-B instead.

> 3 dayUnfortunately, this product has a lot of 5 stars, so many people will be tricked into buying this. There are probably much better monitors for this price. The HDR is super washed out, it looks much better with it off. The picture is really nice and games look great. As far as 1440p & 144hrz, it delivers. Also, I did not know that there were no built in speakers. For this price, there are countless other options that has built in sound. Overall, keep looking around. There is probably something better you can spend your money on.

> 3 dayIve used this monitor almost daily since Ive gotten it 3 weeks ago and it is fantastic. With it being an IPS panel, sometimes the dark to light contrast can be a little bothersome especially if youre not looking at the monitor directly in front of it, but most of the time I hardly notice it and I know it would be hard to find a better panel for this price range with this feature set. Im really satisfied with it!
