> 3 dayBought this back in August 2021. Thought it was a great monitor that worked really well! Brought it through its paces, did nursing school work with it, played Apex Legends, Ark, Halo, any other steam game youd think to play. It was good! until about a little more than a year later, and the screen started to look a little funky. I thought nothing of it, made sure that the monitor temperature was ok (I would occasionally literally put my hand on the front of the monitor to make sure there wasnt any heated places). So far there was none, but I should have known better. Come to this night, April 19th, 2023, and Im working on Clip Studio Paint art for one of my friends, and my screen starts freaking out with the big white lines that are very visible as shown in the picture. Ive turned it off and on again about 4-5 times, even unplugged the display port cord to make sure it wasnt the GPU (thankfully it wasnt, goodness), so it got me thinking. Then I noticed that the bottom right portion of the screen was starting to turn from green to black, and made the mistake of touching that part. It was literally like touching a hot part of a stove, yanking my hand away, and proceeded to turn off the monitor for good. I didnt think that the monitor would malfunction so much that it would start interfering with the pixels and melt the internal side of the monitor. If I had ignored it for much longer, it could have turned from a small bunch of dead pixels to a possible fire hazard from knowing how hot it was. So yes, I am not using this brand ever again, or at least not for a long while until I see reviews that are the most promising for the future. The most embarrassing part with this product? I have 2 other monitors that are Samsung, running 60 hz, one of them going on 12 years (24 LED Monitor S24A300B) and the other going on 8 years (Samsung S27D360H 27 Widescreen LED LCD Monitor) and they both are in prime pristine condition, not to mention they have been with me in the trenches going to college, through 3 apartments, occasionally in the back of cars, a moving truck, and back. Understatement to say those two monitors were a steal. Overall, I honestly dont know if youll get what you pay for. Definitely not in terms of monitor quality and life. Nice framerate for 144 hz, but at what cost, haha. Consumers, please be sure to do your proper research for your monitors and choose the ones with absolute solid high rate reviews. Dont only look at the top reviews, but the most recent to gauge the product and its quality. Watch videos with reviews, check what is the best for your budget. As for me, I do not think this monitor is worth it (unless for some reason its almost 50% off). Spend wisely folks!

> 3 dayEs un muy buen monitor. El HDR no es muy impresionante a comparación de otras marcas pero ha funcionado bastante bastante bien. Lo he utilizado para juegos y la verdad es que no tengo perdidas en la imagen.

> 3 dayGaming monitor for my son. He loves it. No need for a 4k when you are viewing 27 inches. 2k works great. Ive read that 4k can put a strain on the eyes when using smaller monitors. Not much to say here other than; this LG 27GN800-B 27 Inch Ultragear QHD (2560 x 1440) has a beautiful picture, has a quick response time...and doesnt break the bank. The money saved in not purchasing a higher end 4k monitor will allow us to purchase a second LG. Win win!

> 3 dayThis monitor is great! I have a decent 4K tv in my office. That’s where I usually play games. I’ve switched to this monitor exclusively. The HDR, refresh rate, and overall quality are beyond what I expected. I can whole heartedly recommend this monitor. I use it for my Xbox series X and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

> 3 dayI returned an Asus Tuff Gaming Monitor because the Red was off. I decided to give LG a shot with this Monitor and I am glad that I did. The colors are true and I had no dead pixels. I do not recommend HDR on this monitor though. I found the best setting was Game 1. I wish there was no AC adaptor but it seems that is a constant with these types of monitors. Overall I am really happy with all the settings and the picture. I wanted a good 1440 monitor and this one delivered that.

> 3 dayNot a bad monitor, and I do enjoy using it for various purposes. For the first time, I find myself needing to turn the brightness down at night, but during the day it is decent. My biggest issue is the light bleed. It is side-lit, so black screens and dark areas of games look pretty bad - almost like a flashlight beam is coming in from each side of the monitor. Not a deal-breaker, and I would put pics if I wasnt too lazy, but it is definitely noticeable. Another big issue is the random but semi-frequent vertical lines that appear from time to time. I assume the pixels just don’t initialize correctly, but there are times when I turn on the monitor and the screen is just full of random vertical lines and mess rendering it unusable. The fix for me has been turning off the monitor for a while and trying again to prevent the lines burning in. Something I would seriously consider when buying this monitor.

> 3 dayThe monitor itself is great. Just plan to buy a different stand or desk mount like I did. The included stand is not adjustable AT ALL and faces an awkward downward angle.

> 3 daySo bought this LG monitor on September 10th. I was so happy as I just upgraded my computer to a 3060 graphics card i11 processor and was ready to upgrade my dell monitors to something bigger with higher definition. The monitor worked great for just under 4 months. I do use it a decent amount as I work from home and after work I play games (HALO, B4B, COD, etc) usually Monday thru Friday 8:30am till about 10pm at night. Past the return date, I had to contact LG directly since its under manufacture warranty still It took me 2 days to get a hold of someone as LG has reduced its staff due to COVID Once I got someone they didnt speak great English and told me they would send me a shipping label in 24-72 hours via email, after receiving the email I had to callback and find out how they want me to ship the computer. The sent me another email with instructions..... Overall I had to spend $51 to have FedEx package my monitor or else it wouldnt be insured on scratches etc and then I had to call once again to see how to get refunded for the packaging....... An email will be sent within 24-48 hours for you to upload the receipt and then itll take 4-6 weeks to get a refund, they didnt even ask how to refund the money back.... I would never buy a monitor from LG again unless it was through a retail store like COSTCO, customer service with them is terrible and not worth the hassle of saving a couple bucks
