Greater than one weekLove the monitor for the most part, have had is for a little more than 2 years. For FPS games the monitor gives great response. Controls are a bit clunky to me, do not really enjoy the joystick. For me its too bright at the lowest settings, I get migraines and even on the reader setting with brightness level 1 its too bright. My old Dell U2410s can get significantly dimmer than this LG monitor. So if you have migraines you may want to consider the brightness, if you dont then this is an excellent monitor. Would buy again.

Greater than one weekNote: The first display received was a loser in the so-called panel lottery. Horrendous backlight bleed, and a stuck pixel to go with it. Amazon rectified the issue within 2 days, and the second panel is better. Will not be returning the second. Whats in the box? - Your new panel and stand (w/ cable management system) - HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 cables - Power cable Things I like: - Color accuracy in sRGB mode is about as good as it gets without advanced calibration - Power saving mode is quick to respond to a sleeping computer - Some of the gaming features are neat, even if I wont use them - G-SYNC works as described - Picture quality is great, and the 144hz refresh rate is a game changer if this is an upgrade for you - The monitor settings are intuitive, and the controls are better than the four button system present on other panels What I dont like: - Backlight bleed still present in second panel - The stand is flimsy, and has a lot more give than Id like. Ill be replacing it soon. - On the topic of the stand, the cable management system is a joke. It amounts to a hook on the back in an inconvenient location. If your machine is to the left of your monitor... You will not use this. - The power cable has an ENORMOUS power supply that takes up more than half of a standard power strip Overall, Id have no trouble recommending this monitor. Im happy to accept that I got a bad panel the first time, and that it isnt the norm. Expect to replace the stand, but other than that... Well done LG.

> 3 dayI wish it had built in speakers but besides that I love it. Bring it bright light doesn’t make it hard to see and the screen itself is beautiful

> 3 day1/10/2021 I started with a TN panel back in 2016 and was always afraid of going to IPS monitors only because the backlight bleeding issues, this monitor however surprisingly barely has any! I see the backlight bleed on the top left of my screen but only when I actually look for it, I know its there but I am actually enjoying this monitor, I kept being afraid of buying only because its an IPS and I thought I was going to return it but I actually fell in love instantly lmao I give the backlight bleed a 8/10 but Im definitely going to get use to it, I just wish we had 27 oled gaming displays with pixel shift or something, eh whatever lmao Im glad I bought it, watching videos didnt really help into buying it so I said screw it, and bought it after deleting it from my cart like 20 times due to my fear of having a bad panel but my god I got lucky or something :D 1/10/2021 I have found an issue with the 3.5mm audio port in the back, it produces static, and music sounds terrible on it, I had to put my speakers back into the actual computer but whatever lmao, sounds better that way, the USB ports produce enough power for my Keyboard and Mouse so thank god, no issues so far with that :D

> 3 dayThis monitor is pretty dang great and for the price of 250 I paid for it on Amazon day was a steal.. I use it for my ps5.. some games on ps5 give you a crispy downscale to 1440p image and other games can actually look terrible and grainy at times I dont know why tho.. ps5 native 1440p support is coming in the next firmware up hopefully.. some select ps5 users is playing beta mode for the native 1440p as we speak.. I got this monitor because I want to play everything at 60fps and to do that most likely all games will run at 1440p at 60 so Ill hold off on a 4k monitor for now... note i also been having some flicker issues playing fps games sometimes but its not worth returning I simply turn the monitor on and off them the problem is gone.. had the monitor 2 months and thats happened 7 times... I recommend this monitor if your a console player that wants that 60 to 120 fps at 1440p... one more thing the brightness isnt the best but it still a great monitor..

> 3 dayI bought this as a christmas present for my wife and now I want to replace my own Dell 1440p 27. The color on this LG is unbelievable, especially for the price that it got down to on black friday. HDR10, 144hz, 1ms, at this price is unbeatable. Warranty registration process was also really easy. For those that are using the monitor mount that it comes with, its super simple to set up. Comes with DP and HDMI cables.

> 3 dayI waited until this come back in stock, and snagged it for ~$450. I use it with GSYNC and it works flawlessly. I am the type of person to research, compare and re-research products I buy, especially tech that is expensive. I chose this monitor over the ASUS ROG Swift PG27VQ / PG27VQZ, and a few other GSYNC specific monitors. This is one of the best (if not, then THE best) IPS 1440p 144hz 27-inch gsync compatible gaming monitors available. My room bought the Asus, I mentioned above, and this LG has better color accuracy, and picture quality overall; as well as less black light bleed. The IPS glow is minimal. This monitor is newer than a lot of the Asus panels, and it shows that LG actually cares and has better quality control when it comes to the panel and black light bleed. The GSYNC compatibility is perfect, and un noticeable the it is FreeSync monitor. If I paid $600 for this monitor, I would have still been happy. The fact that I grabbed it for $450, when it was available, purchasing this monitor over everything else was a no-brainer.

> 3 dayThe ghosting on the XG270QC was making me nauseous, and the blacks were too black. That panel type is supposed to have better black levels than the IPS of the UltraGear but it was just too hard to see many scenes in games without turning up the brightness, but that would overblow the picture. But the ghosting along with the seemingly crushed blacks made me look at other monitors. I settled on the UltraGear and love it! The OSD controls are also SO much better, quicker, and more intuitive, I cant believe how bad and misplaced the UI on the Viewsonic is! I really like the picture quality and sharpness and colors and no ghosting... everything is much better than the XG270QC. The two plus sides of the QC is that it was 165hz vs 144hz, but honestly I dont notice it. And it had speakers built-in. Hightly recommend UltraGear.

> 3 dayWent from a 24 inch curved monitor @ 1080p & 144hz to this. Took a few days to adjust going from curved to flat screen but after about 3 days I was used to it. I was comparing many monitors before purchasing this one and Im glad I did. Only thing I wish this monitor could do is being able to turn the brightness even lower.

> 3 dayWithin the first few months of owning this monitor I noticed a crack in my screen on the upper right quadrant that wasnt there previously. Im almost certain it was not of my own doing since I dont touch my monitors unless its with a microfiber cloth to clean them, and I dont remember bumping into it with anything either. On further inspection, the crack seems to be almost exactly 6-8 pixels wide, and is completely straight horizontally, like perfectly so, which I think also rules out that I scratched it somehow. Im thinking that maybe one very small component got too hot and the screen cracked there as a result or something, I dont know. Again, I dont touch my monitor and I dont use sharp objects around it either, so I was pretty surprised to see this. At first I thought it was some dead pixels. Some might think such a small crack isnt noticeable in normal use, and sometimes it isnt on darker backgrounds, but on anything lighter though its quite noticeable, like a permanent small hair which you cant wipe off no matter what. Its a bit hard to see in the picture, but there it is.
