We used this for our new grapevine we just planted and it works great. The wire has a plastic coating on it so it wont cut the vine. I recommend it for anything like that. It would also make a great clothes line if anyone still does that!

Quality cable and gauge was exactly what was needed for a lightstring in the back yard. used some other more robust hardware for attaching to the house and used loop tie down straps to attach non-destructively to two trees - wrapping around medium sized branches.

Used this kit to string up a misting line across a deck and to anchor a shade sail over the patio. For the patio, I ordered an additional anchor kit that came with larger turnbuckles. The crimp sleeves worked well making loops for the mist line but failed when tensioning the sail. Had to use the larger wire clamps for that application. The snap hook/carabiners worked really well. The line is polymer coated and easy to work with. Screw, like all those made in China are junk and will cam out unless a pilot hole is drilled.

If the carabiners didnt have the separate holes they would have been much easier to string and hang, as it is you have to carefully preplan where you are clipping them when stringing the lights.
