> 3 dayThis installation kit is well thought out to allow you to install string lights without multiple trips to the hardware store or your workshop. The components are of good quality and once you decide how best to string your lights they make your job easy. The package came ahead of schedule despite the heavy demand for deliveries due to the virus. The price is also very reasonable.

> 3 dayThis kit would be a great value, however there are a few critical components that negate this value. First, the wire rope clamps will not hold unless there is no weight, wind, or tension on the wire. Second, the crimp-on ferrules will not hold either. They are the correct size for the wire rope WITH coating, however the wire rope will slide out of the coating within 24 hours of tensioning the wire. The ferrules are too large to be used with the coating stripped from the ends of the wire rope, which is the only proper way to secure the wire.

> 3 dayEasy enough to install, but I have to buy almost every additional part because a few of them are damaged and there’s not enough to begin with. Update: wire has lost all tension with lights on overnight. Parts have also completely fallen apart

> 3 dayI’m not sure what length of service life I should expect from this set, but I ordered it 4-18-20 and the cable just broke. We do have some strong winds, so I’m TOO surprised, but the entire length of the cable is dark, like rust. Cable is supposed to be stainless? If it’s supposed to give 2-3 years of service, then I guess it gets a 4, but as I now have to spend a few hours re-running the entire set up, a 3.
