I purchased this item to be a clothes line. I havent yet set it up, but the package came with everything I need for a sturdy and long clothes line, which is important for my situation. We live in a country with no dryers, so you absolutely need a dependable clothes line and this seems to do the trick! Thanks!

The set was easy to work with and use, but its limited to just three runs of cable with the hardware included. If you want more runs (and I had plenty of cable left over) you have to purchase more mounting hardware. Fortunately, I only needed three runs.

The whole kit was less expensive than just the steel cable at the big box hardware stores.

This is a great little kit if youre looking to hang up string lights. I am using it for outside above my deck, and everything is included... very convenient. My only issue was with the screws that were included. They were an oval head type, but in my opinion, a pan head type of screw works better. I purchased pan head screws and this kit worked great! Very sturdy and stainless steel for weather resistance. I would definitely recommend if youre going to need support for string lights. Do keep in mind that you will need to have the right tools. The cable will need to be cut, and you will need a good quality cable cutting tool. Youll also need a 5/16 inch wrench or socket to tighten the nut that clamps the cable ends. Lastly, youll need to have wire ties, or whatever youre planning on using, to attach the string lights to the cable.

Installed a few months ago to hold shade sail up from sagging in middle over part of patio as temp solution till i make something more permanent. Ran into an issue that was worked out easy enough with seller. Running the line in sharp zig-zag lines puts strain on the line and I was recommended to remove the nylon protective sleeve and run again which I am doing now. Will update once the setup is up for a while and can attest to its durability

We bought this to help hang a 48’ string of lights across our 50’ long backyard. You definitely will need socket wrench for this kit, but that was an easy purchase. We are hoping to keep these lights up year round in our 4-season city, so we look forward to finding out the sturdiness of this set and whether it will withstand all four seasons. Either way, we are so happy with this purchase and you will not be disappointed. It has everything (minus the socket wrench) you need to hang lights, especially for a beginner who would not know how to purchase these items individually!

I ordered this because it was a full kit to install our lights. It arrived missing both the snap hooks and the hump screws. It is completely useless without these two critical pieces
