> 3 dayThis product is incredible. Our new addition to our family is a feral toddler cat. I saw the advertisements for this product, but had serious doubts regarding the odors, how much waste the product could hold... It is AMAZING! It is so easy to use and when its time to dispose, everything you need is right there -- the cutter makes it so easy and then just tie off, toss and pull down for the next two or so plus weeks of collection. Considering all that goes in for waste product, I am still in awe that the plastic does not tear and everything keeps in tact! And yes -- no odors! LOVE this product.

> 3 dayIm so impressed with these bags. The only thing I dont like about it is that you have to cut it and retie it as you go along. I can suck that up for the odor control. I fostered a litter of kittens who were very sick with the smelliest poops on the planet and that is when I bought the litter genie and the refill bags. Worth every penny. Now that the kittens have all been adopted, I am still using these bags for my 1 cat.

> 3 dayI use these to direct waste down into a regular 3 gal plastic bag (googled a hack for the litter genie). It works well, but it gets used up fast which is why I had to google a hack.

> 3 dayOther than the fact that we had to go on-line to find out how to first use the bags with the Litter Genie Plus, that product with a replacement pack constitutes a good system. This replacement pack fits both the Litter Genie & Litter Genie Plus. The pack is actually one long tube of litter bag type of material that is tied off to create a bag, and later cut whenever you want to discard some cat feces. Then more is pulled down and re-tied, with that process being repeated until the entire package is empty. When starting a new replacement pack you should handle the material very gently after breaking the tab. I use the Genie mainly for feces, only occasionally including clumped litter. Sometimes you have to jiggle the Litter Genie container or push the cat feces down with the scooper while holding the movable tray out, but other than that, it couldnt be easier, and there is virtually no odor when the Litter Genie/Plus is closed. I keep a spare refill pack on hand for convenience. Granted the price has gone up, and it really could be a little cheaper, but still, I prefer the convenience of the pack to attempts to hack the system by trying to use large garbage bags, because the Litter Genie refill packs are strong enough, and with one cat (Chloe) lasts us for weeks.

> 3 dayWas told to expect these replaceable bag units to last roughly 2 months.... They didnt last 2 months combined. At one point with each replacement bag set, their so-called Durable Five-Layer Bags with Odor Barrier Technology ripped while pulling more bag out. This product is just an all around waste of money. Its like when you pay $40 for a UV pet urine flash light then you find out 5x stronger UV lights are half that price if you just dont shop in the pet dept. Same general idea. If you have more than one cat, you will be taking this thing out every couple of days as the unit will in no way hold even 1 weeks worth of clumping cat litter. Not even for a single cat. I have 2 cats whose bowls are filled once a day and I make 2 trips emptying this litter genie per week. Youre going to want something much larger than this flimsy cheap plastic product if youre looking to avoid making too many trips to the outside trash can. Now that I am done with this weak product and relegating it to the recycle bin where I dont need to be reminded of my poor purchase by seeing it ever again, Im thinking that I will try a diaper genie (which this product was obviously trying to spin off of) for my litter cleaning business. Its larger, more durable plastic, comes with a foot pedal so I dont need to lift the litter can lid myself, and the odor-eliminating system in that product, as I recall from my diaper changing days, is slightly more advanced than a spring-loaded piece of cheap plastic that, in no way whatsoever, creates an odor-controlled environment. Its also already got plenty of positive reviews for just that purpose from pet owners so I know its a possibility and, at this point, its probably also my best chance at odor control in my homes litter box room as all these Litter Genie, Litter Champ, litterwhathaveyou products seem gimmicky and half as effective as a diaper trash can at best.
