I was looking for a remote that doesnt require the remote to be the same room as the plug and this works extremely well. The plug itself is quite small and doesnt take up a lot of space. Would recommend, especially with how hard it was to find a remote that doesnt rely on the IR sensor.

This little gadget works better that I anticipated. The remote works from the other side of the house. I thought it would only be able to turn on/off from the same room. Great for Christmas trees or anything else you dont want to craw, climb or bend to get to.

I added a garbage disposal to my kitchen sink. Although there was an outlet under the sink to plug it in, my insta hot water dispenser used the wall switch and it was on all the time. My plumber suggested this repot control which works great. I just keep it on the counter near the sink. Saved me having to hire an electrician.

I used this for indoor Christmas lights, and it was perfect! I just plugged them all into the plug, and I could turn them on and off with the touch of a button.

Like many others, I needed this to control a lamp in a far section of a large room. When I first attempted to plug the receiver into the wall, its diameter was too large to exist with another devices power adapter on that same outlet. Not a big deal for me, but could be frustrating for someone else who isnt expecting to have to reroute/reposition adapters for multiple things to accommodate this receiver. Theres a pairing process, and it involves pressing the button on the side of the receiver for a few seconds until the button flashes. The problem is that my fingers are a bit thick, so my finger was larger than the button surface, and prevented me from seeing the flashing light. No big deal, I just counted to 3, and took my finger off to check it. Other than that, the pairing process was very easy. That was it. The remote worked on the first attempt, and it solves one of lifes many tiny headaches. The remote does have a separate magnetic base, but I dont plan to use it. Despite the small issues I mentioned, I highly recommend this device.

No more climbing out of your warm cocoon of a bed to turn off the light! Originally I bought a bluetooth socket to control my bedroom lamp but that quit working after a short couple of weeks. Not to mention it was annoying to have to pull up the app on my phone, let it load then click off the lamp. Im thrilled with this remote version! The socket is behind a heavy solid wood dresser and I was worried the signal would not reach but it turns on and off the first click every single time. I can stay in my warm bed all cozy and turn off the lamp when Im done reading or whatever. The remote also has an optional sticky pad on back so you can stick it to the wall next to your bed or wherever. Great feature! It is absolutely fabulous! Much better (and cheaper) than the bluetooth alternatives!

This thing is bad to the bone. installed shop lights garage and didnt have to hard wire in. Just plug and play! Great!!

Now my wife can control her oxygen machine from the bed, no more me getting up to turn the thing on and off. It was simple plug and play and install the battery.

This product is just plain easy and you dont need a smart phone, Google Home, Alexa, or computer. You get a convenient little round switch with a magnetic mount that sticks to a mountable ring. You can use it for other things, not only lights. Ive got one connected to my bathroom fan. The fan is in a fan/light unit in the ceiling of my bathroom. Unfortunately, being a combo unit, the fan always comes on with the light, but I noticed that inside there, the fan plugs into a small outlet. By making a very short extension cord, I was able to use the LoraTap Mini Remote Control Outlet Plug Adapter up inside the fan/light combo and then I stuck the switch on the wall between the toilet and the shower. You can now reboot it all by using one of these rather than running downstairs to pull the plug. Turn on the light in your garage by sticking the remote in your car. I gave one to my friend Bill and he used it for his aquarium light.

Our apartment didnt come with light switches, so these came in handy. They work just like a light switch however I can plug multiple lights into them. I plugged string Christmas lights into mine and hung them around my room. Now, I just walk in, press on and my whole room is lit up. The adhesive was also super easy to just peel and stick to wall. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. Great gift items too!
