> 3 dayThis product works and is handling my garbage disposal everytime unlike the other model we tried. Im using the switch for my RO system under the sink (plug) and had no way to use garbage disposal. Thanks for not having to run a separate line to disposal. Good job!

18-11-2024I have a storage closet that had the old fashioned pull-chain ceiling light in it, which I did not like at all. It would be a lot of work and expense to have an electrician wire it to a wall switch. I had purchased not one but eventually two of the pricey GE brand remote switches. The first one failed in about a years time, and the second one eventually failed as well. (After replacing the battery in both thinking that was the problem) They were junk. I bought this and it has worked beautifully and has a much better design. The screw-in light socket is shorter (the GE socket was quite long and after adding a light bulb it hung down lower in the closet and the bulb would get bumped.) The on/off buttons on this are a simple light press with your finger instead of the rocker type on the GE product. They are more electronic than mechanical and seem to work much more efficiently. It gets a lot of use as I am in and out of this area a lot. The round disc type of switch on this product is a bit different. So, I bought a metal switch plate at Home Depot and the switch, which has magnets on the back, sticks to that. It also comes with some adhesive mounting squares, which I could have just stuck on the wall, but Im not a fan of those. This works perfectly and looks nice on the wall, like an upscale, designer wall switch. It is also very easy to change out the disc battery when the time comes. The back just rotates off. I have since purchased two of the remote plug version, for some other areas around my home where I just wanted a convenient on/off wall switch to control some lighting. I like that each one has a unique code so they dont interfere with each other at all. The remotes also have great range. All in all, this is an excellent product that I would highly recommend.

Greater than one weekNo more climbing out of your warm cocoon of a bed to turn off the light! Originally I bought a bluetooth socket to control my bedroom lamp but that quit working after a short couple of weeks. Not to mention it was annoying to have to pull up the app on my phone, let it load then click off the lamp. Im thrilled with this remote version! The socket is behind a heavy solid wood dresser and I was worried the signal would not reach but it turns on and off the first click every single time. I can stay in my warm bed all cozy and turn off the lamp when Im done reading or whatever. The remote also has an optional sticky pad on back so you can stick it to the wall next to your bed or wherever. Great feature! It is absolutely fabulous! Much better (and cheaper) than the bluetooth alternatives!

21-11-2024My wife bought some string lights to decorate her home office, but they dont have an on/off switch. They were plugged into a power strip under the desk and hard to get to. After plugging them into the adapter, now she has an easy switch to turn them on and off. We have a few different scenarios we can see this being useful, like the aquarium lights in our fish tanks. Definitely plan to get more of these just as soon as we figure out how many we need!

> 3 dayI wanted an easier way to switch my new monitor lights (two thin lights mounted over my two computer monitors) on and off. The lights have touch buttons but I preferred something that was easier to reach and switched both lights on and off. The LoraTap works perfectly. I plugged it into an outlet on my UPS, plugged the two lights in with a USB adapter (the lights are USB powered) and put the switch on my desk. It works perfectly. The transceiver was paired out of the box but the included User Manual includes pairing instructions in case it is ever necessary. It uses a common CR2032 watch (flat) battery which came pre-installed. A mounting plate is included with peel and stick adhesive strips (LIKE Command Strips) to enable mounting the switch on a surface. About the only thing I can think of that might make it better would be some sort of luminescent cover to make it easier to find in dimly lit/dark rooms. I would highly recommend it. In fact I did. My son just installed his. I would buy another one if I had a requirement for a wireless remote switch.

> 3 dayLike most, I used this remote switch for a hard to reach light. It was easy to install and so far it’s working great. If I had to say anything negative it would be the diameter of the receiver. I find it a little too large. Overall great product.
