After 6 months the battery died, even though it says an average of 10 years worth of use? Cant get the back of the clicker open so I cant change change battery. So at this point I feel robbed of my money.

I have 2 lamps in my bedroom both controlled by a switch by the doorway. The lamps are plugged into the upper socket on the wall outlet which is controlled by the switch. A small lamp is on the nightstand beside the bed. The other is a tall floor lamp on the other side of the bed. Im handicapped. Hard to get around. I can turn off the small lamp by hand. Easily within reach. The floor lamp was always a problem for me, but no longer! Now I control it with this remote switch. Works great. Problem solved.

This is genius. We live in a house that was built it 1880 and the outlet access is pretty limited, some rooms dont have ceiling lights either so I got a couple of these little gagets and its been life changing. Had these for a few months now and they work great, makes life so much easier

I was looking for a remote that doesnt require the remote to be the same room as the plug and this works extremely well. The plug itself is quite small and doesnt take up a lot of space. Would recommend, especially with how hard it was to find a remote that doesnt rely on the IR sensor.

Bought this just because. Plugged it in to outlet, remote worked like expected, there is a status light on outlet to let you know if is active. Plugged something in, that I had verified functional, nothing. So I tried a different outlet, and same result. Got my meter out, and could not get any voltage to come out of the outlet. Pulled it off the wall, and checked my duplex, and had 120V. Tried many outlets, many different things plugged into it, and mine was DOA. Will be returning.

The plug design is too big for a standard 2-receptacle. The prongs are dead center of the puck so it overlaps the other receptacle making the other one useless. See some of the photos others have uploaded. Probably sending back when I find a better-designed unit.

I bought a few of these for my garage and it really worked great to bring all the lighting together in groups. They worked so well that I ended up getting more and using them with my interior LED lighting. Now, instead of turning the LEDs on/off one-by-one with my phone app, now I can just touch my remote control to turn them all on/off at once. Im quite happy with the range of the remotes and how easy it is to program and reprogram the receivers. The magnetic holders for the remotes are a nice touch, too.

Over the years Ive tried several types of remote switches for my bedside lamp with very limited success. Recently tried this one, even though it seemed a little pricey, and found it to be exactly what Ive been looking for. High quality and worked perfectly right out of the cute little box it came it. Wasnt sure I would like having a white hockey puck sitting on my table, but it is so low-profile that it isnt obtrusive. Maybe a wood-tone brown would be better, but anyway I liked this switch so much I got a second one and plan to buy at least a couple more! Note: Not sure exactly what happened, but after a power outage, the switch stopped working, and I first thought it had failed, which was very disappointing. In reality, the remote and switch had just become unpaired! I followed the pairing instructions that came with it, although they are a little confusing, and back in business! What a relief!

Second time to order these remote control outlets. They work exactly as I hoped to provide control of additional lighting in my garage. It was easy to pair the additional outlet to the remote control I already used for the first set of outlets. Batteries that came with my original remote are still going strong and I like being able to simply remove the remote to carry it with me.

I got one of these for my son, so he could turn his light on and off, from his bed. The remote also comes with a little magnetic plate you can mount anywhere you want, that the remote will stick to, when you just want to use it where you might want the normal switch to be. It has been working great, so I bought another one, for my bedroom.
