Madeline

This book didnt look any different than what I remember it to have 25 years ago! Thank goodness. My favorite childrens book, no wonder I grew up to adore Paris!

We originally got this book + cd from the library. Loved them so much and were still talking about the extra French songs months later. Unable to find good equivalents on YouTube, I searched and found this same Puffin Audio set as our library. Highly highly recommend for if you enjoy listening to books and songs in the car. My 2 year old and 4 year old sing along or at least try too. It’s also nice that they’re a break from the typical kids songs of today. The story part has a ding to follow along in the book. The 4 year old has a little trouble keeping up but I think she’ll get the hang of it soon. Love the narration too! If you’ve read Madeline out loud before, you may remember that some of the rhymes/cadences/flow of the book are a bit awkward so I really love that the narrators do such a good job.

Great condition and the children wear the out, which is Ok-they love reading it.

Love this picture book - read it to my little girl (3 yrs old) after she watched the movie, and she had lots of fun trying to find madeline, and follow the story. I remember this as a kid myself, and it was nice to see that the book, pictures, story is timeless.

I was a little concerned about the fact that the series goes way back, but granddaughter loved it and loves others her mom got her as a result.

Bought this book for my granddaughter, she loves Madeline I had to read it right away.

These books are a MUST HAVE for all little girls. My daughter is a Madeline fanatic! ENJOY them!

I grew up watching the cartoons. Can’t believe I didn’t get this for my daughter any sooner. She’s 2 and she loves this book! Only thing is Madeline is sometimes a red head then a blonde the next page.
