Greater than one weekThis longboard is super easy to ride! Maybe that is just the nature of longboards, but I am a true beginner and I found it very easy to push and turn the board. PROS: - Riding on rough asphalt is nice and smooth. You can still pick up speed pretty easily and the wheels absorb a lot of the shock from the road. - The grip on the deck is good and not too grabby. - The design of the board is top notch. - The bearings seem to be pretty good. CONS: - The trucks are really loose out of the box. I tightened them and they still have a lot of play in them. I’ll try tightening them all the way and see if that helps. - The kicks are relatively small. If you are new to longboards(like me), it will seem like you need a good amount of force to kick the board up. Definitely not as easy as a regular skateboard. All in all, this is a pretty good board for a beginner. You will automatically feel confident after hopping on the board for the first time and rolling without falling off the board. On a side note the deck has plenty of flex. I’m 215lbs and get a lot of flex from the deck. My daughter is about 75lbs and only gets a little flex from the board. But it is probably still enough flex to carve effectively. Final evaluation: The board is worth buying. You’ll be pleased.

> 3 dayGreat board for looks and functionality. Allows you to go long distances comfortably (longest I have gone is 10 miles in one ride) AND allowed for easy control on big long or steep hills. I did have to get the stock bearings replaced, with just a cheap 15-20$ upgrade and you turn a good board into a GREAT board. I bought this board for $140 and it has stood up to the test of time very well, however I dont give it 5 stars due to the bearings needing to be replaced (due to my own negligence of not cleaning, but there is a drastic change regardless) and also because there are other boards I have found for $50 cheaper that are much higher quality made and smoother than this board. But- if you want a casual and decent board that looks good rather than a great board that looks average, then this is the right board for you.

Greater than one weekI’m a rank beginner at any kind of skateboarding. My daughter bought a longboard and said it was easier for a beginner than a regular board. I took her word for it, and I think she’s right. I love this board. It’s beautiful, but also, I think the grip on the deck is better than full-on grip tape, like on her Retrospec. This rides really smooth, really responsive trucks. I’ve been on it about four times and I’m getting it. As I said, rank beginner, but I’d recommend this for beginners like me.

Greater than one weekUpdate (5/21/17) After a month of using this board, I really feel like its the best cruising board I have. Its really stable and it grabs my feet well. I can go over some pretty big cracks and bumps without it suddenly changing direction (which is really important because I ride with my right foot towards the back) The stock wheels and bearing are still smooth. Occasionally, I have to tighten the truck mounting screws. Magneto Bamboo Longboard (not the carbon one) This is a great board for cruising around trails and exploring the town. Its rock solid, not too bouncy, and very very stable while providing a decently tight turn radius. It gives a bit if you bounce one it - but my 180lbs doesnt bend it more than an inch. It feels nearly unbreakable. I dont think Ill be replacing the trucks/wheels with anything, the stock ones are very very nice. Im impressed at the quality of this board -- its beautiful to look at and it rides like a cloud. If I turn the board hard, the turning radius doesnt allow me to completely do a u-turn on my residential USA street...Its close, but I always end up in the shoulder and in the grass.

> 3 dayMy husband has not been on a skateboard for 30+ years. We took this to the park and he did great no issues at all. The only disappointment was the wheels looked orange in the picture and when we got the board they were red.

> 3 dayi bought the 42 inch and the 36 inch for my son and i and they ran great for about a month. the trucks bearings and wheels are all trash so we’ve replaced ours and now it’s running flawlessly. in hindsight i should of just bought a deck at a skate shop.

> 3 dayRides smooth like you’re on water. I’ve only gotten it up to about 35mph but was amazingly stable & would have been so at higher speed. All this considering it m 6’2” & 185 lbs & I like my trucks loose to carve the terrain. I love this board!

> 3 dayI am rather new at skateboarding and this board has been a great help in learners the ropes. In my first day of riding my board in the city, it survived getting run over by a big Ford Truck so for bamboo, it’s pretty durable. The stock wheels are fine but need to be loosened up a little out of the box so that you can have a decent roll. Overall I’m satisfied with the board and am looking forward to using it more and improving over time.
