Very bright, great to use when working on details.

Bought so that I could get more use out of my existing 18 volt Makita battery packs. This tool (portable light) even surprised me with its usefulness. The head articulates, it is very bright and it has great battery life. The work light is well balanced when placed on a horizontal surface while still offering a store away hanging clip too. Within the first few week of ownership I felt that the tool had already paid for itself. I have been very pleased with this Makita addition to my 18 volt tool collection.

Completely adjustable to stand by itself to any angle. High power lighting setting is great for when your head is buried under your dryer, your car, or trying to paint a wall. Low power is what you want when walking your dog. This light is the first tool I pick up when I have a task to do.
