> 3 dayMy boss introduced me to this work light. It is extremely practical. It twists and turns and hangs and doesnt use a cheap charger. It needs makita batteries.

> 3 dayBought this as emergency lighting for the house, since I always have charged Makita batteries lying around and I know they dont discharge over time. Strong enough to fully illuminate a 3x6 meter room in its weak mode, which allows 9 hours of runtime on the smallest 18v battery. Whats kind of not obvious is how large this thing is. The black rubber on the handle is long as my hand is wide, so this is three hands high, excluding battery. Not really a problem, just kind of surprised me. The switch disconnects before it clicks, so the lamp can be used for signaling.

> 3 dayCompletely adjustable to stand by itself to any angle. High power lighting setting is great for when your head is buried under your dryer, your car, or trying to paint a wall. Low power is what you want when walking your dog. This light is the first tool I pick up when I have a task to do.

> 3 dayThrows bright, clean light, its lightweight, infinitely adjustable and stands on its own, great for working under the car, around the shop and for a backup emergency light in the house. Winner.

> 3 dayThe decline of Makita since products have been designed and produced in Communist China has been very dejecting to watch! The former Japanese brand once produced superior power tools with, beautiful metal boxes, which would last indefinitely. But now, oh my gosh, every tool that make has a plethora of design and construction shortcomings! PROS: 1. Good battery light, depending on the battery used. CONS: 1. Inadequate, very poor light output! 2. Rather cheap and clunky. 3. Switch hard to find, especially in the dark when you need to! 4. The upright stance of this light seems advantages in theory, but not in practice! I recommend buying an aftermarket brand (there are no brands anymore) which accepts your Makita batteries. These are much brighter, and much cheaper!
