Greater than one weekOverall construction is sturdy. The camelback itself is great. The angled bit where you sip from is interesting to use as opposed to a traditional straight one but its not a problem. Plenty of space for storing things. Comfortable too. Holds up against similar ones I bought at the PX in the Army.

> 3 dayThe water bag has molded smell and the front strap clip broke after first use. This is not a very good purchase. Not sure if anyone having the same problem

> 3 dayThis is a bada55 pack! Impressed with durability and compartments. Add more pouches for a decent hiking pack.

> 3 dayPurchased this Marchaway for myself because it’s advertised as 3.0 liter while the Unigear that I ordered for my wife only had 2.5 liter. Placed the order simultaneously and both arrived sealed and in new condition but the Marchaway took 2 days longer. We’re both outdoors people but I thought having the larger badder in mine would be a wise choice because I’m larger and consume more water than she does. Putting them side by side the external bag is so close to identical that they cannot be told apart. The Unigear does have an insulated pocket that the reservoir is carried in keeping the water cooler for a substantially longer time and the bladders were identical except for the color of the protective fabric that insulated the drinking tube and color of the bite valve. All in all it isn’t a bad option as far as the price (compared to camelback) and how well it’s made but the Unigear costs less and offers more. I’m a veteran who has owned many of these in the past and would also like to add that the construction of the newer reservoirs that divides the water and prevents it from sloshing is a good improvement. -2 stars for false advertising the bladder, higher cost and no insulation I will add side by side comparison photos at a later date

> 3 dayThis is a great day pack. I haven’t used the hydration pack but threw a water bottle in the pouch and it worked great. Plenty of room in the other pockets for bug spray, snacks and a small first aid kit. After our hike I shut the waist strap in the car trunk and broke it. I need to figure out how to replace it. Totally my negligence, nothing wrong with the pack.

> 3 dayThis is a nice water carrying device. Secure on the back while mountain biking. The common gripe is the nozzle. Unless I’m doing it wrong, its like Gomer Pyle and trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose to get water.

> 3 dayI bought this being I was doing longer mud runs over the summer, and even wore it during the shorter ones just to be sure I was used to it. Its super comfortable, and has nice storage space for snacks you need on the longer runs. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayThe pack is great - just the right size, fits the bladder perfectly, a good balance between durability and light weight. The compartments are great - just the right size. The bladder is a disaster. Mine has a horrible, acrid, chemical taste and smell. I have washed and dried it half a dozen times. I followed the instructions in the condescending (but ultimately unhelpful) review entitled How to Adult and used a few drops of Dawn swished around and run through the system. I did this twice. I even thought that leaving it in a hot environment might induce the plasticizer or mold release or whatever to leach out faster. None of this worked, despite an investment of 30 minutes or more over several days. It still smells and tastes very acrid, making me think the plastic bladder did not fully cure, or that there is mold release or plasticizer migration. Whatever it is, multiple wash and dry cycles did not reduce the smell and taste. I will be substituting a Camelbak bladder for the one that came with this. But the pack itself is excellent and a fraction of the price for name brand 3L packs.
