Greater than one weekThis is a great day pack. I haven’t used the hydration pack but threw a water bottle in the pouch and it worked great. Plenty of room in the other pockets for bug spray, snacks and a small first aid kit. After our hike I shut the waist strap in the car trunk and broke it. I need to figure out how to replace it. Totally my negligence, nothing wrong with the pack.

> 3 dayWhen I first bought the bag there was a defect, which led me to ask for a refund, and within hours of the refund I was contacted by customer service, who sent me a new one. Ive got to say, Ive been loyal to Camelbak, but I wanted to try something new and this one does the job! Def not the best one ever made, but the backpack is perfect for hiking and biking and has decent storage space, much more than the average Camelbak bag. Overall would definitely say give it a go!! Also, customer service is great, I would give them 5 stars!!

> 3 dayThis seemed like a solid pack for the money; however, one minor fall on the slopes and the bag fell apart. I wouldnt recommend if you plan on using for winter sports.

> 3 dayI bought this knowing it wasnt going to serve a daypack function. I just wanted one for hikes/working out with a little utility. Thats all you get. There is not enough additional storage for me to really consider this a daypack. You get the bladder area, and one small storage area, good for keys/phone, small snacks, small medical kit etc. But you theres not really enough room to pack a real lunch or a change of clothing/extra shirt like a Daypack should have. I do like the bladder retention system, unlike most others that just provide awkward velcro straps. Seems like it will be perfect for my intended use, as a hydration pack for workouts/hiking/riding/running. Be wary if you want the functionality/storage options of a dedicated day pack. Quality? It seems ok for the price, but its definitely not a high quality pack. Adjustable straps narrow and obviously cheaper quality, as are the small plastic clips. But its fine for what it is. My main criticism is that the bladder area should come lined with insulated material, it doesnt.

> 3 dayThe water stays cool for over 14 hours (I havent tested beyond that time). The major drawback, for me, is the accessing the water through the tip of the straw. Its sealed with a thick silicon type end-piece that you must squeeze really hard to open the center hole to allow suction and water to flow through. Its difficult to squeeze with your lips and suck at the same time. You basically have to use your teeth to bite down and then suck while biting. This can pose problematic for people with disabilities or those without good jaw strength. Overall, it does what it should.
