Perfect replacement part. Filter is extremely quiet now.

The impeller arrived quickly and I installed it in about one minute. While it made a huge improvement its not exactly silent (mind you the unit Im replacing it on is around 10 years old.) I bought a later and smaller model filter for a smaller tank and the newer model filter runs silently. I however would not hesitate to buy another one of these replacement impellers. It certainly beats buying a complete new unit. Overall Im very happy with it and for ten bucks and one minute worth of work I cant complain. Thank you

My 400 was never quiet from the start. After like 6 years, it was getting really loud so tried this. Now I just hear water from 3 feet away.

It is easy to install and uninstall for cleaning

So happy I bought this! I have a 15 year old Marineland Emperor 400 on the original impeller. Decided it was probably time to change even though the original was still moving water. Now the filter REALLY moves some water. So happy!

Bought as a replacement to quiet my noisy Emperor 400. Its amazing how quiet it got after the new replacement impeller was added to the filter. Day/Night difference!
