Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Nintendo Switch

I dont like car games but Ive put an embarrassing amount of time into this game, and enjoyed every moment. Fun to play with friends aswell. 10/10

This is easily the best game in the series & I own every one all the way back to the very first game Super Mario Kart for the SNES. This is much like the Wii U MK8 but with a few more new characters, brand new battle modes & a bunch of minor tweaks that make it so much better than the original. The 2 DLCs from the original game are all unlocked which is a huge plus. It also looks better cause it runs at a full 1080p HD in docked mode while the Wii U version ran at 720p. Ive played the Wii U version for the past 3 years & still love it just as much as when I first played it, so it was worth upgrading to this better version. The Mario Kart franchise has always been one of my favorite franchises & I still love playing all the games!

My sons love this game. I even purchased another controller to join in the fun and I had a blast playing with them. Mario Bros does it again. 5 stars across the board and fun for the whole family!!!

This is a solid entry into the ninetendo switch offering list. However, there are a couple glitches. First, the pause menu came up unprompted on multiple occasions. This gave me the feeling that try as I may to beat the game, it was somewhat out of my hands. This brings me to the next point: “winning” the game is both too easy to do and too confusing to do so quickly. I spent about 10 hours at 150cc Grand Prix mode. Up until hour 8 I phoned in my playing because I wasn’t sure I was involved in a challenge. Then, things started getting hard and I tried and won. Anyway, this will be a hugely popular game, but it’s. It without its glitches.

This game is very entertaining. We bought for the kids but my wife and I play it more than them. Lol

As you see, came with no game =( . Updated to 5 stars as they replaced it at no cost to me. Did take another 2 weeks but still replaced at no extra cost.

Family fun

If you played Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, then you know that this is the best racing game on the series. With brilliant graphics, endless kart customizations, and numerous old and new courses to choose from, this is a no-brainer for the Switch. Since it is the Deluxe version, all of the DLC characters and cups are included leaving you only with kart customizations to unlock. That is very generous and makes it easy to just turn on and play from the get go. The new and old Battle modes were missing from the Wii U version and definitely bring new excitement to the multiplayer experience. I would comment on the Switch to Switch LAN type plan, but I dont know anyone else with a Switch. Regardless, this is a must have multiplayer game for your console.

If you have a Switch, theres no reason not to have this game. With the exception of items (blue shells, the bane of every Kart race), this game is as pure as Mario Kart gets. 200cc is stupid hard but rewarding for longtime fans. There is a lot of options in terms of racers and kart options but I played this game for the Wii U, and they are have worn out on me (Link is cool, the Hyrule and F-zero tracks are awesome). There are also assist options for beginners which is nice since it lets them stay in the race but skill will always win. A great game and a great entry in the franchise. Now if we could get Super Smash Bros deluxe....

Great game with alot of replay value. Try Beerio Kart too (if over 21, drink responsibly).
