> 3 dayGreat game to enjoy with the family. I only wish the battle mode had more areas to fight in.

> 3 dayIf you played Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, then you know that this is the best racing game on the series. With brilliant graphics, endless kart customizations, and numerous old and new courses to choose from, this is a no-brainer for the Switch. Since it is the Deluxe version, all of the DLC characters and cups are included leaving you only with kart customizations to unlock. That is very generous and makes it easy to just turn on and play from the get go. The new and old Battle modes were missing from the Wii U version and definitely bring new excitement to the multiplayer experience. I would comment on the Switch to Switch LAN type plan, but I dont know anyone else with a Switch. Regardless, this is a must have multiplayer game for your console.

> 3 dayI love Mario Kart in general but I’m loving it for the switch! You have so many track options and some of course are from past gaming systems which I love. Plus you have setting options that allow you to race without having to hold down a button make your car go and you have options to turn your remote into a steering wheel instead of using your toggle sticks similar to the wii. I feel that first feature is great for little kids that want to play and the second feature is good for just a more realistic feeling while driving. Overall I just love Mario Kart and feel it’s a must have for anyone that loves racing games.

> 3 dayWill never be as good as Mario kart Wii but it’s fun to play. I highly disagree with their decision to make the sides of tracks push you back towards the course. It gets rid of the skill aspect. If you drive off the course you should be punished for driving off the course. Not handicapped back on the course. But it’s still fun nevertheless

> 3 dayOkay so I already owned Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U. I was thinking should I really pay for a game I already own? I did and I am glad I did. All the extra courses I paid to download for the Wii U version are already included for the Deluxe version. Also, I really bought this to play with my kids (6 & 4) and the driver assistance controls are really great for younger players. There are three separate assistance controls. The first is a guidance system to keep the Kart on the course. Youll know this is enabled when you have and antenna with a blinking light on the back of your kart. The second is a steering option. You can either use the joystick on the controller to steer the kart or use the controller like a steering wheel. And the third is an acceleration assistance. You can use all or none of these options in any configuration you choose. Also, if you have two pairs of joy con controllers up to four players can play. Im really happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayTheres not much progression in the game. It gives you an the tracks upfront, and basically ask there is to do is free play. I have a hard time putting time into playing when theres nothing to strive to complete.

> 3 dayI have MK8 on my Wii U so this is a re-purchase but I dont mind. I never unlocked much on the Wii U and didnt buy any DLC, and for various reasons, I didnt even enjoy playing MK8 on the Wii U. So even tho I purchased the same game twice, I have no regrets. Ive only played single player mode, which is pretty boring (I always get 1st place). Online play is where its at, even tho I am consistently in 12th place and losing points, its still fun. I understand that Nintendo plans to make their online gaming a subscription based model before the end of 2017, so well see if Im singing the same tune then. Tried it with various controllers: a bare naked Joy-Con, a Joy-Con in one of those steering wheels, the Joy-Con comfort grip, and the Pro controller. As expected, the Pro controller is the most comfortable and best way to play. If/when I play local multiplayer, I guess ill have to use one of the Joy-Cons.
