These banana plugs are TOP NOTCH! Ive used Monoprice for the longest time, but recently I upgraded my speaker wire from 12 awg to 8 awg and Monoprice doesnt sell banana plugs larger than 12 awg. I read the positive reviews and Im here to tell you they are all that, and then some! Precision built and heavy duty. Hold them in your hand and youll see what I mean. Once I had the 8 awg stripped and inserted I screwed the plug top on , and voila! My wires will NEVER come out! These bad boys grip like a pit bull on a muggers leg. The sound quality is great! I HIGHLY recommend these plugs!!

Works exactly as expected, very easy to use, very happy.

Though the idea is clever and the product is well made, the lack of strain relief is a big problem to me. I found their resistance to the speaker wire being pulled to be significantly weaker than typical banana plugs where the screw holds the wire far more securely. And if you dont ball up the bare wire at the end of the cord just right, the resistance to pull is very low indeed. Too much fussing for me. A screw is quick and strong. Id never ever consider the product for professional use. Back they go.

2nd time to order this set. I don’t know if there’s difference between the expensive ones and this set but it works fine with me.

These are great banana connecters. The design of having the cable exit the back instead of the side makes it so much cleaner at the rear of your amp. My current ones that these replaced were on the side.

These are high quality banana plugs for a reasonable price. I used them with 12AWG copper wire. Very easy installation, the bare wire inside feels like it is secure and not going anywhere once the two parts of the plug are screwed together. The audio quality is great from what I can hear. I would buy these again if I was setting up another system.
