I would have given these connectors 5 stars except for one issue that bugs me -- I dont like the black and red rubber rings they use for color coding. When you try to tighten the connector the ring just slips around and you can get a solid grip on it. I had to use pliers to hold the edge of the base while I tightened the knurled edge along the top. They should just paint a stripe around the base instead of using a rubber ring.

A little fatter than some banana plugs, which is good as I was loading 12 gauge wire. Nice construction and good tolerances, too.
