Easiest to use banana plug

I bought a set of these to plug into a 7.2 wall plate so I could hook up my Denon unit for my home theater, using 12ga Amazon Basics speaker wire. They work well, are easy to install and they keep the wire in place very well. Just make sure you account for 2 plugs per speaker to plug into the BACK of your plate, the FRONT of your plate and your receiver if it can take banana plugs. For my 7.2 system I needed 28 total just to plug into both sides of the plate. I could have gotten away with directly connecting the wires to the back of the plate, but why not do it properly? :)

Used 12 gauge wire from Mediabridge for my new home theater setup and combined with Mediabridge banana plugs. Pleased with both products, would buy from them again. Other people using smaller gauge wire may have slippage problems with them, but they are holding snug with the larger wire, and sending a better signal I believe. I would suggest using a larger gauge wire from the start..
