For a friend’s granddaughter’s 1st birthday she suggested puzzles. I ordered these and they were perfect. The knobs on one puzzle make it so easy for tiny hands to manipulate. Melissa and Doug puzzles are top quality. I would definitely order these for a little one again!

This puzzle is just what I wanted as a gift to my friends grandson. It arrived on time and was exactly as described.

18 month old granddaughter can handle pieces easily and match pictures. She is very proud of herself when she gets a piece turned and it falls into place.

My 2 year old received this as a birthday gift, but I think she was already a bit too old to be challenged by it. Still, she loved it and got a lot of use out of it initially. She mastered placing the puzzle pieces immediately and she learned to say all of the animals names and the sounds they make right away. Ill save it for my next little one that is due in March and give it to her earlier than age 2.

I love this sturdy puzzle. My grandson is just under 2 years and he loves it. The quality is excellent. The colors are vibrant. Perfect for little hands. Its just what I had been looking for.

I purchased these puzzle because my almost 2 year old son is receiving speech therapy and his therapists recommend it to me. They are easy to grab because they are chunky! He is in love with them and plays with it every day he has find many ways to play with them.

The puzzles are great quality. Nice vibrant colors, just what I expected from melissa and doug. Unfortunately they smell strongly of hookah. So much so that I wouldnt gift them to someone else. I plan on washing them before letting my toddler play with them again.

I got this as a gift for my little one. I love that this is all wood and the pieces are thick chunky and substantial. They are easy to grab and hold on to. The images are cute. I have used some other puzzles in the past where it is possible to place a piece in the incorrect spot, as there are not clear differences between the puzzle shapes. This is not the case for this. Additionally, the image underneath each puzzle piece is the same as on the puzzle piece, so it makes it easier to tell where it goes. I really like Melissa & Doug items, and this puzzle is no exception.
