Melissa & Doug Match and Roll Shape Sorter - Classic Wooden Toy

My 6 month old and I absolutely love this toy! He can pick it up and tumble it around. The shapes are great start for fine motor development! This is the perfect toy for his inquisitive mind! I would recommend this product to anyone!

I always try to buy my granddaughter Melissa and Doug toys because theyre made from real wood and not disposable plastic crap that could end up in the ocean or in a landfill somewhere. These are toys that will last. And hopefully, when more grandchildren come along they can be passed down. Spend your money on something that will last.

This is almost totally perfect: The variety of shapes, the fact that it can be used as a rolling toy for my not-quite-ready-to-shape-sort one year old. My only complaint is that the shapes are fairly challenging to get back out. My three year old cant even open it, and then it takes some maneuvering to actually get them to all drop out. Not a big complaint - and really, the alternative would probably be a rolling toy that drops its innards everywhere as soon as it gets going. That would be annoying too. And despite it, this is my favorite shape sorter weve owned yet (and five kids into this, weve owned an embarrassing number of them lol).

perfect for church nursery!

I love the simplicity and quality of this toy! I got it for my little ones first birthday. She was very excited about the bright colors and began by putting the shapes through the big hole on top. 5 months later she still enjoys it and is becoming more familiar with putting the 13 different shapes through their corresponding holes and stacking the shapes to make towers! Definitely look at the extension activities listed on the bottom of the cylinder. Great for sparking creativity. It is very solid and well made. Love it and would definitely recommend!
