> 3 dayWe needed an air compressor to clean and pre-process our laser printed material for our in-office mail inserting equipment. Quiet operation was the one of the most important criteria and this compressor is perfect for that. We found that when shuffling laser printer output, adding the step of blowing air over the printer output reduces the sheets electrostatically sticking together and greatly reduces jams and mis-inserts in our Neopost mail inserter. This was suggested by one of our techs and was an outstanding recommendations.

> 3 daySO QUIET! You hardly know it’s running in the same room. Everyone that sees (and doesn’t hear) this compressor loves it! Perfect for smaller jobs like kitchen finishing and small molding installs. I don’t use it to trim a whole house but for finishing up a project it’s perfect. Lightweight and compact as well. Someone asked me if my big compressor had a baby the other day.. LOVE IT!

> 3 dayI had a 2 gallon air compressor that was so loud, I couldnt open the garage door with it on. Id run out of the room to avoid hearing damage. This Hitachi is so quiet, you cant hear it if youre not in the same room. I added a 50 ft. retractable hose, and now I have a system thats air tight, and I can leave on all the time. plus the hose is like adding another gallon of capacity to the system. Best thing for my shop in a long time. GREAT!

> 3 dayI owned a similar sized compressor in the past see photo. Some low life in south central Michigan decided they needed it more than I did, and broke into my garage and stole it along with a bunch of other stuff. If you know of somebody who acquired one of these used about a year ago, please send me their address, so I can personally deliver the owners manual to them. ;) Now, back on subject. The Metabo is an excellent replacement for my missing compressor. Although it only pumps half as much air, it is incredibly quiet. It is perfect for running trim nailers and staplers indoors, and blowing up tires and such. It is fairly lightweight and balances well in the hand when carrying it. I cannot over emphasize how quiet this thing is. It sounds about as loud as a small electric fan set on low speed. I like this compressor a lot.

> 3 dayIt works great. Don’t even know it’s running. For putting up trim you can’t beat it.

> 3 dayVery nice small air compressor encased in a sturdy roll cage for protection. The handle makes it easy to move or carry. It has 4 suction cup feet that keep the compressor steady while in use—and they DO work. Perfect for RV’s and-or small jobs like air brushing.

> 3 dayVery nice small compressor. The quick connect doesn’t work out of the box, so had to order a replacement. Seems the quality control of this product could be improved.
