Literally just open the package and it unfolds open. Super simple. At first it seemed pretty small but once I put it on the side of the mattress it was a perfect fit! For reference my child sleeps in a toddler converted Oxford Westport crib. And the mattress is Moonlight Slumber Little Dreamer Crib Mattress 52 inches length! I wanted to avoid getting the convertible wooden piece meant for this crib and opted for this instead

This foam roller is a great price and a great product. I was on the fence about getting a little guard rail to put on my 2 YOs bed when I took the front of her crib off, or if I should get one of these bumpers. I went with the bumper and so far so good. Her bed looks amazingly comfortable with it and she can climb in and out without actually falling out when she sleeps. I just tucked it under the sheet and it has not slipped or moved at all. I thought I was going to have to put an sheet under the roller, then a sheet on top of the roller - but putting the roll right on the mattress has worked fine. I think this will be a really easy transition to just sleeping alone in a big girl bed and Im glad I ordered this on Amazon. I originally rolled up her crib bumper and used asparagus rubber bands to hold it together and then slipped that under her sheet. That worked just OK, but it kept slipping. Im glad I spent the $ and ordered the real deal here.

Ok. So I looked at a bunch of different rails and foam thingies and inflatable pillows before I decided to buy the Milliard one. It’s been 3 nights so far and I haven’t heard any thuds of my daughter rolling right off her bed, or finding her asleep on the floor. (She sleeps through anything) She’s what I would call an “active” sleeper. But this thing works like a charm so far. She uses it as a pillow for her head sometimes too which is cute to see. It’s firm enough to keep her in place, easy to install and doesn’t smell funny. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far so good.

This works wonderfully and keeps my daughter safely in her bed all night. It also prevents the sheet from tucking all the way around the mattress though. When the sheet bunches up on the inside of it, it slides to the edge of the bed.

I LOVE this. We switched my son into a toddler bed because he was climbing out of his crib. He didn’t like the open bed & it seemed to scare him. I put this under his sheet (I got one that fit along the entire mattress by mistake instead of leaving some space like they say to) but he loved it. Laid down, now he didn’t stay in bed, so he could get out but he couldn’t ROLL out. He needed to use force. He used it about a month & then wanted it off. I’m keeping it out for now when we switch him to a real bed, he’s in a converted crib. I’m assuming that’ll make him nervous for a little so we’ll use this again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Was looking for something to use to keep our toddler grandson from rolling off the bed if he was laying on it. This bumper appears to be of good quality. It was very easy to set up and use. Havent had any experience with it yet, but it certainly looks like it is high enough to do the job. We have an 18 deep mattress and standard railings would not do us any good because they were not high enough. This sits on top of the mattress under the sheet. I like the fact that there is a cover on it, and the bottom has some grip to it. I expect it to be fine for our use.

We had the big mesh metal things for our toddlers beds, and the straps underneath kept coming loose. Not to mention, the metal guard rails make it so hard to change the sheets! I didnt know if this would work for our 2 and 3 year old, so I tested it out on the 3 year olds bed. Worked like a charm! A few days later I bought an additional bumper, removed one metal rail from my two year olds bed and gave that a try. Amazing! I then purchased a third bumper! I was able to pull my two year olds bed away from the wall and install my last purchase on his bed. (So he has a total of two bumpers on his bed to keep him tucked in. Not only is he not waking me up by slamming into the wall at night (or kicking it before bed), but it just looks nicer. Im huge and pregnant right now and it makes changing the sheets so much easier. LOVE this product. It totally worked for us!

We purchased this item when we transitioned my son from his crib day bed to a higher twin bed. He likes to roll and rock himself to sleep and has fallen out of other beds before. We have only been using it for week but so far we are very happy with it. I opened the package immediately and let the foam expand for a few days before using it since Id read reviews that the foam didnt fully expand. It is plenty high enough to prevent him from rolling out of the bed and it is quite firm. The non-slip underside of the cover works very well. I put the bumper directly on the mattress and put the mattress pad and sheets over it. It hasnt budged an inch. I am not able to comment on the water resistant properties of the cover or how the product holds up long term so Ill update down the road if needed. For now Im very happy with my purchase!

The bumper is high quality. It is the perfect mix of firm and plush. It is long enough for the bed. The company packs the product impeccably and includes it’s own package opener so you don’t risk making a hole in the bumper when opening the package. They thought of everything! I have purchased 4 of these to date (for both of my daughters’ beds). Very happy with the product!

Amazing! We set it up underneath her fitted sheet and she’s never fallen off the bed. We just transitioned to toddler bed from the IKEA crib, and it fits the length to a t. If you have the ikea crib that transitions to toddler bed, I highly recommend this! Doesn’t budge and has kept our little one in bed all night. It’s also not too high so she can still climb in and out of bed easily without falling. Would buy again.
