> 3 dayWas looking for something to use to keep our toddler grandson from rolling off the bed if he was laying on it. This bumper appears to be of good quality. It was very easy to set up and use. Havent had any experience with it yet, but it certainly looks like it is high enough to do the job. We have an 18 deep mattress and standard railings would not do us any good because they were not high enough. This sits on top of the mattress under the sheet. I like the fact that there is a cover on it, and the bottom has some grip to it. I expect it to be fine for our use.

> 3 dayLoved the idea of a rail free style bumper. Works great on my sons bunk bed. Easy set up and hasn’t slid out of place, mattress cover has texture though so that helps it grip better.

Greater than one weekMy daughter just turned 2, but is so large for her age (36 inches, 35 lbs) that we had to move her from her crib sooner than we anticipated due to safety reasons even though she loves her crib - it is recommended that a child be moved to a bed after 35 inches. She is an active sleeper and we were concerned she would roll off the side of the bed. I was torn between this bumper and a rail. I wanted to give her the freedom to be able to climb out and I also wanted her to start sleeping without rails like a crib, but in a safe manner so I chose this bumper (plus I didnt really want to see the rail on the bed). It is quite high, she would not be able to roll over it no matter how active she is in her sleep. She can only climb over it intentionally and even that is with some difficulty. I put the bumper directly on the mattress and there is a pillow topper and sheet on top of it. So far, it has not budged an inch. In fact, I needed to adjust it slightly and had to take the sheet and topper off to move it because it was gripping the mattress so well. I am very happy with this bumper and have no concerns that my daughter will roll onto the floor (at least in her sleep).

Greater than one weekI LOVE this. We switched my son into a toddler bed because he was climbing out of his crib. He didn’t like the open bed & it seemed to scare him. I put this under his sheet (I got one that fit along the entire mattress by mistake instead of leaving some space like they say to) but he loved it. Laid down, now he didn’t stay in bed, so he could get out but he couldn’t ROLL out. He needed to use force. He used it about a month & then wanted it off. I’m keeping it out for now when we switch him to a real bed, he’s in a converted crib. I’m assuming that’ll make him nervous for a little so we’ll use this again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Greater than one weekWe have a Bunkie board for our sons bed, And we found out that traditional rails only work if you have a boxspring. This was a great alternative into a guard rail. All you do is stick it under the fitted sheet and the non-slick bottom prevent it from moving. It tells you not to let your child climb over it, but my two-year-old does it frequently and it still works great. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayThis bumper is perfect for an older toddler who is transitioning to a big bed from the crib. Some reviews of this one and other brands said that they were too big but I think any smaller and you could kind of role right over them, this width and height is just perfect but it doesn’t take up too much space in a twin bed. I think the only kid that this might not work for someone who does 360s in their bed all night, that’s why I say older toddler because if they’re keeping their head at the pillow all night, then this is perfect for stopping them from falling off the bed. It’s cuddly and makes them feel nestled in, my kid snuggles it sometimes lol. It is way nicer looking than the bed rails, with a fluffy duvet you can’t see it at all and I’m really glad that I went with this option!!!

> 3 dayI purchased this bumper after extensive research and comparison of several other bumpers in the market. Im using this bumper to help transition my young one into a twin-sized bed, and its been AMAZING! First, I love how quickly the bumper inflated. It took about 1-2 hours max to inflate all the way. Second, I love how sturdy the bumper is. Its not too hard, but not too soft either. Its perfect for preventing my kid from rolling off the bed, but it doesnt wake her up if she happens to roll into it. Third, I love that its Certi-PUR certified, so I know that its safe and made with great materials. Finally, I love how it doesnt shift a lot under the sheets. My kid has crawled over it and it still stays in place! I totally recommend this bumper!

> 3 dayI never planned to have kids that sleep in my bed but somehow I now have two of them that end up in bed with us on a regular basis. Eventually we just accepted it and took precautions to make sure if a kid was in our bed that he wouldnt fall out. I had a clunky eyesore of a bed rail on the side of my bed all through my older sons toddler years, and now found myself in the same position again with my younger son. But when we bought a new, thicker mattress suddenly the bed rail wouldnt fit with the bed frame anymore! I am so glad this happened because it made me research other options, and this bumper is such a better solution. I wish Id found it years ago! It serves the same purpose but is so much less of a nuisance. No, its not as tall as a rail and I guess if you have a really acrobatic sleeper it might be possible for them to roll over it (?) but it seems like a good enough deterrent to me. Its so easy to use; it just sits underneath the fitted sheet and stays put. I can actually climb in and out of the side of my bed again! Great product.

> 3 dayI actually bought two of these, because the first one worked so great and I wanted a second one for our cabin. My son loves it, because he doesnt feel like he is being Boxed In by a railing. It comes rolled up in a very small package, but fluffs up nicely after being taken out of the package. I did not notice any offensive odor, and it has a nice, removable cover which you can wash if it gets soiled. This fits a toddler bed perfectly, but do realize that if you buy it for a twin-size bed there will be a gap at the head and foot of the bed, as it will not cover the entire length of the bed.
