Mollom Heavy Duty Carbide Hole Saw, Hole Cutter cuts Stainless Steel, mild Steel, Iron, Copper, Brass, Plastic (3 76mm)

I do a lot of truck frame modifications, these bits save a lot of time.

Owned this 1” (25 mm) hole saw for all of 14 hours, the carbide teeth lasted about 2 minutes while drilling low carbon mild steel. I bought this bit hoping to drill 6 super smooth holes in 1/4” mild steel as I had purchased a smaller 3/4” bit from another source that worked great in the same material and much harder material. All the teeth on this bit broke off with only 60 percent of the first hole cut. Bit is Completely unusable now check the photo. For reference, I finished cutting the first hole with a regular bi-metal hole saw that was countless years old and literally missing 3 teeth. I then cut the remaining 5 holes with the bi metal blade so it wasn’t because the steel was too hard.

Used it to cut a 3” hole in a 550 gallon stainless steel tank. It cut through it faster than my drill could handle. I will be buying more of these. Just wish they were made in USA

2 of the 3 broke before I cut 4 holes. Finished with standard drill bit.

I used my 21mm hole saw to drill 16 holes through 3/4” thick steel plate. Eight were set up and drilled on a Bridgeport mill. Eight were drilled by a cordless drill in the field. I did not notice wear or loss of performance at 16 holes. The pilot bit overheated since it drills faster than the hole saw. For thicker material, I recommend through drilling a pilot hole the same diameter, so the pilot bit can act as a guide and not have to work so hard.

Was checking on the comments and trying to buy one. Although not as good as Klein, looks all things go fine, better than the cost. Worth it.

Was missing set screw and I can only return it. :( Better QA before packaging would have been nice.

Very happy with this hole saw, super sharp. Leaves a nice clean hole in aluminum and plastic.
