> 3 dayspring applies pressure on wood before blowing out and splintering the backside of the cutout. wood dust also clogs the cutting teeth.

Greater than one weekLooked good and packed well. Took it out of the packaging. Assembled the pilot bit into the hole saw with the included allen wrench and went to work. I was drilling into a Carlon plastic electrical box. In the process the pilot bit sheared about halfway up its length. Bit lasted about 2-3 seconds. Was looking forward to seeing how the spring would work for removing the drill debris from the bit. Like the number of licks to the center of a tootsie pop I guess I will never know.

> 3 dayWell it drilled 2 holes fine, then broke. This was the 3 1/8 flavor, chucked up in a drill press, so I couldnt have bound it up too much the belts will slip. You get what you pay for.

> 3 dayUsed on my drill press to cut 3/16 steel plate . My experience with normal hole saws has not been good , but this hole saw cut thru the material with no damage to the tool. Starting another cut soon - but pretty sure it will handle it . Next hole saw I buy for metal will definitely be Mollom !

> 3 dayBroke the first pilot bit and order 5 more… didn’t break a second.. It did the job of cutting into my well casing…seems to be undamaged. It not a very easy hole to drill drilling into a non flat surface do yourself a favor and start on your lowest clutch setting or you will break the pilot.. It did have alittle wobble to it. But not to bad.

Greater than one weekDrilling through the sheetmetal floor of my van tore the teeth right off this hole saw. Toothless, it failed to finish the first job I gave it, and then I toss it in the trash. Money wasted.
