> 3 dayIn a previous post, numbers were inverted. And I had given only a 3 star for this product. I am sorry for the misinformation. This product is fine and we are using it. It came in on time as stated in the order section. Again, I am sorry for the mix up.

21-11-2024I ordered this item and was a little sceptical at first. Needed a hole saw to cut Stainless Steel and wasnt getting good results with regular brands. The first time I used it, it went thru the steel like butter. Cust fast and clean. I did made sure I used Tap Magic cutting oil and a low rpm for my specific job. After 20 cuts it still going. Will order again.

> 3 dayBought 2 different sizes and extra bit pack. Complete waste of time and $$. I am experienced tool and craftsman, this is worst cutting product i have seen all my life. The center drill bit is so brittle it breaks immediately with little to no cutting pressure at all. Bad, Bad Bad!!!

> 3 dayI used this hole saw to drill 2 in dia holes in 10 ga cold roll sheet. Having read the reviews, I understood that the pilot bit was crap, so I drilled a 1/4 inch pilot (much easier to do this prior to using a hole saw anyway). I used the bit in my radial arm drill press with cutting fluid and it cut much better than the typical bandsaw type hole saws. The saw cut evenly and consistently, resulting in holes that measured 2.030 dia. Im happy, so I ordered another one, just in case, as I make quite a few of these pieces. Shipping was quick.

> 3 dayAs the title states, the feeder bit broke on the very 1st hole. It was only a typical metal stud and nothing thick at all. It broke immediately as it penetrated. Im a plumber and tend to use a hole saw for my holes but after trying out a similar kit to what this bit is, figured it would work great. It didnt work at all. Returning for refund and I will not bother to try again. Time is money and this feeder bit (also called the guide bit) is far to cheap to work as such a bit would require.

> 3 dayLooked good and packed well. Took it out of the packaging. Assembled the pilot bit into the hole saw with the included allen wrench and went to work. I was drilling into a Carlon plastic electrical box. In the process the pilot bit sheared about halfway up its length. Bit lasted about 2-3 seconds. Was looking forward to seeing how the spring would work for removing the drill debris from the bit. Like the number of licks to the center of a tootsie pop I guess I will never know.

> 3 dayEDIT: After using a better drill bit and Blue Loctite on set screw,, the hole saw worked fine. Bumped it up to 3 stars and overall, disappointed but made it work. Drill bit did not center properly and even broke on a test piece. Will update after I use a different bit and am able to complete an actual cut. This is currently being used on aluminum, 1/2 thick.

> 3 dayWe were putting a dead bolt in a metal clad door. Bought a supposed metal drill bit at a local hardware store, lots of sports and it put a dent in the door. This bit went through the door in no time, absolutely no problem.

Greater than one weekTCT holesaws can be damaged by impact. The box protects the carbide tips nicely. While I would have preferred a different size selection, this set is a good compromise for the money. The only thing I would like to be different is the shank. If the lower portion were a Weldon shank, it would fit in a magnetic drill chuck, enhancing usability.

Greater than one weekGranted it was just aluminum, but I had to cut through some half inch stock. This thing cut like it was butter. No Chatter, grinding, wobbling, binding, smoking, burring, or chipping. I was impressed.
