So far, so good! These work as intended and are difficult to remove. The only thing that would alter my opinion on these plugs would be how long they take to dry rot. Our homes previous owners had small children as well and had left the plugs in the outlets. When we moved in we went to remove both the plug and the outlet covers and we discovered that the child safe outlet plugs had dry rotted in the socket and couldnt be removed, when you tried the other flat piece would come off leaving the two smaller pieces stuck in the outlet. We ended up replacing every single outlet that they had left those plugs in, the plastic had rotted so much that when you tried to pull the plastic out it just crumbled. I have no idea how many years they had left them in the sockets, but it was a drag having to replace all those outlets. Heres hoping these dont do something similar.

These are hard as hell to get out of the wall which I LOVE because my little one is extremely determined once she sets her mind to something and will never stop trying to get them out of the wall and if I have trouble doing it she definitely isnt gonna get far, one of the best things I ever bought by far.

First and foremost, I gave these 1 star for being easy to remove - but this one star is AMAZING! Nobody wants baby-proofing outlet plugs to be easy to remove!! With that being said, these are THE BEST! They are hard for my husband and myself to remove, which is GREAT! They are clear and are not noticeable at all unless you actually go feel the outlet! I will be buying these for all of the grandparents houses too!! BUY THEM NOW!

These are 36 to a pack, so I should have paid more attention to the description. Do not sit flush with the outlets and so can be pulled off without any effort. Im sure my 10 month old will be able to take them off easily. Also being translucent/almost transparent they also are interesting things to explore for my son. I was getting these to fill in for the ones that were missing. The older ones in my home sit flush and have a solid color that makes them less apparent targets. I need something flat to take those off. Its not worth the shipping back and so Im going to just get others.

These are a must-have for inquisitive babies. I ordered enough for every room of my house. I like that they’re clear and blend well but safe enough to deter baby and prevent anything from going inside. So far no discoloring. When I used other brands with my older son they were less clear, more eggshell and baby was still curious. I like these better

Inexpensive and they worked for us. Some babies/toddlers figure them out and try to olay with them, but ours hasnt. I would recommend them for when traveling and for outlets you rarely use. For outlets you use a lot, I would get a switch plate with spring-loaded doors that close over the outlets. It is annoying to have to yank these guys in and out of outlets all the time, and it defeats the purpose if you forget to put them back in (or your toddler unplugs stuff).

These are great! I bought them to protect my 13 month old grandson, who lives across the country but visits with his parents every 2-3 months. Previously when he visited and took an interest in the outlets, my husband covered them with duct tape. It worked, but when I peeled off the tape, it left a gummy residue that took a lot of scrubbing to remove. These covers protect my grandson effectively and are inconspicuous. We have left them in place and find that we really only use a fraction of the outlets in our house on a regular basis. They are a little difficult to remove (even for an adult), but that just gives me peace of mind that my grandson wont be able to pry them out easily.

This is one of those items where I just bought the cheapest I could find for a large quantity to cover as many outlets as I could. These worked just fine, no complaints. Not sure they are any better or worse than others... I mean it’s a plastic outlet cover...

I didnt need quite that many but I didnt see smaller packs. They install easily. Not sure if little ones can get them out. I have a 2 1/2 yr old and she never messes with them so I cant confirm that.

Cheap, gets the job done plugs. I knocked a star of as the aesthetics of the plug guard arent right. (the plug doesnt exactly cover the outlet the way youd expect, and this makes it look a little weird). Aside from that, Im not worried about my daughters pulling these out any time soon. They are nearly two and very interested in the plugs, but cant seem to figure out the guards. Would recommend anyone to consider the self closing outlet covers for any spots you typically leave something plugged in. This way if your child pulls out the plug, it will cover the newly opened outlet holes. We used these simple covers for outlets we rarely used and the self-closing units for more commonly used outlets. Last, dont forget you typically need two of these for every outlet you plan on covering. So in a newer house, youll burn through them a lot faster than you think!
