These are a lifesaver if you have a baby who is on the go! Of course they are drawn immediately to the outlets, my baby girl was, and only because I thought ahead, I had these on hand. She cannot pry them out, and they have fit all my outlets snuggly, but not too snug that I cannot get them out myself without trouble! I like that they are also quite unnoticeable if you are not looking right at them, so they do not look out of place in the house.

The first time I noticed outlet plugs, I saw various families use these:

It’s clear!! Yes that is a definite plus because it does not compromise the style of your home for the safety of little ones. I was super stoked when these arrived to find out how thin, transparent these were. The top part is flat so it’s easier to pull out. Just make certain you place it all the way in so that it is nearly flushed with the wall because the down side of it being easy to pull out is that little hands find it just as easy if not placed properly. I absolutely love the style of these, I would recommend and buy again.

I bought these for an alternative use to child protection. I needed caps to cover outdoor extension cords and Christmas lights to protect from the elements. My lights were always tripping outlets whenever snow melted or there was a heavy rain. These worked perfect for protecting the open ends of Christmas lights and extension cords.

I didnt price compare before ordering these from Amazon, so I am not sure if you get the best/good price here. The product itself is good. You get 36 outlet covers. They slip in well, not too snug, not too loose. It only has two prongs. I am not sure if there are other products that cover a 3rd prong. As far as being low-profile and unnoticeability, this scores not well compared to softer more diffused looking outlet cover products. So, if you are looking for something less noticeable to say someone visiting your house, look around a bit more. If you just want something to keep your kid out of touching power outlets, this is a fine product.

36 plastic plugs for a couple of dollars. Hard to complain about that. Besides protecting kids and pets, these are useful for covering up outlets to minimize drafts and prevent fires. Pros: ++ Nice tight fit. * Probably difficult to remove from typical outlets * ++ Clear, not too noticeable. + Lots of plugs. Cons: !! Easy to remove from my style outlets (See my photo). ! Clear, difficult to see on the ground. Small enough for a pet or child to put in their mouth. = Lots of extras left over. Have to store the extras in a secure location. The Short Story: These are cheap and plentiful. I dont remember sticking my finger into an outlet, but maybe your kid or pet will.

These get 5 stars all around except I didn’t rate for “easy to remove” because they are NOT easy to remove (relative to little fingers), which is obviously the point. These are very sturdy and latch into our outlets with no issue. They don’t feel loose at all and they’re very low-profile, so you can’t even tell they’re there. Definitely going to purchase another package. I held off on purchasing multiple because I’ve run into some very cheaply made plug covers and didn’t want to waste the money in case I just ended up returning them but I’ll DEFINITELY be buying another pack.

As the headline states, once they are in, you really need either nails, or a butter knife to get them back out, I see this as a good thing as they set very flush to the socket and have a good firm seal. Kept my child who is now 3 from ever messing with the light sockets.

These are 36 to a pack, so I should have paid more attention to the description. Do not sit flush with the outlets and so can be pulled off without any effort. Im sure my 10 month old will be able to take them off easily. Also being translucent/almost transparent they also are interesting things to explore for my son. I was getting these to fill in for the ones that were missing. The older ones in my home sit flush and have a solid color that makes them less apparent targets. I need something flat to take those off. Its not worth the shipping back and so Im going to just get others.

I use these to cover any open, unused outlets on outdoor light strings. Other outlet covers have a bow-shaped cover, which can hold water. These are flat to keep the water out.
