> 3 dayIts that time: time for my 2 year old to have her own room with her own bed. But, with her own bedroom comes the concept of leaving her alone in a room over night and hoping she is still breathing in the morning. Morbid, i know. But thats the fear of a mom..... that you will forget something and she week tien it into a weapon against herself. That is why i bought these outlet covers. Not only ate they difficult to pull out of the wall, but they arent bulbous or draw attention to themselves. As far as she knows, they dont even exist.

> 3 daySo I thought that maybe I would teach my 17 month old to respect the plug, that she could plug plugs into it but nothing else. She seems fascinated by putting this in there that she saw plugged in before (you know figuring out how to do things yourself). Well I havent really had to baby proof much as our furniture is pretty soft or round and we dont keep any sharp items or chemicals (eco friendly house) in little hands reach. Well, wouldnt you know, the plugs became less satisfying and of course little kids decide they want to test out what can go in there, if they can stick their finger in their - or even the wrong ends of some plugs, and even things that have been in their mouths, and of course testing the No theory by their parents. So, needless to say we have to get these plugs. I had considered giving this 4 stars because I do find them a little difficult at times to take out myself, but I decided against that and went for 5 because on the other hand I really like that they are difficult to take out because it means my little one will not be able to pry them out. They are not fancy, and why should they be? They are also fairly clear (a little foggy looking) so you dont even really notice they are there. That way child still may want to put things in but will be unsuccessful and in our experience just move on. This box comes with 36 plugs (enough for many many outlets). They do hurt if you step on them though so watch out. Also, can be a chocking hazard if your little one starts to put it in their mouth. I would buy again and strongly recommend this.

> 3 dayLarge number of plug covers to child proof your home or save money year round on heating and cooling. Conserve energy loss by restricting air flow through outlet boxes from outside, crawlspace or attic areas. Makes a difference in the insulation for winter heat or summer air economy. Use also in camper, boat, or RV to decrease air exchange and increase insulation in electrical plugs. The dual 36 packs for less than $9 will cover all your outlets with spares for your camper or boat.

> 3 dayI use these to keep bugs out of my apartment. I learned that roaches and bed bugs can travel thru apartment walls thru the electrical outlets so I put Harris diatomaceous earth into every outlet and wall switch that have outlets in them. I keep these mommy helpers in every empty outlet. I only remove them to plug in my hair dryer or such but I put the mommy’s helper right back in when I’m done. Better safe than bitten!

> 3 dayI saw some people described these covers as fitting loosely, which I would say is anything but the case. These covers seem to fit all of our sockets tight and flush, which is good with our now-cruising 9-month-old who is completely enamored with electrical sockets. I would say that anyone who has been dealing with a loose fit with these covers probably has some worn out sockets in their home. The biggest gripe we have with these is that theyre a bit of a pain to get off of the socket when we do want to plug something into it... but, then, thats kind of the idea in the first place. Id buy these again if I needed more.

03-06-2025Bought 2 packs through amazon with prime shipping and the package came in 2 days. Put them in all our outlets lower than counter height and two packs worked out just right for our 2 story home. Regarding, the ease of removing mentioned in some of the other comments, you probably want them to be hard to take off since that is part of the purpose of this item. At any rate they dont seem all that hard to take out for an adult and you can just use something slender to pry it out if its stuck in the outlet. Worked perfect and keeps our little babies fingers out of the outlets. I also put these in open surge protector outlets. Although they dont fit perfect you can overlap adjacent inserts and they still stay in the open outlet.

> 3 dayThis is the greatest plastic device to shield the youngest of your blindest toddlers from possible death by electrocution! As a helicopter parent who values and prioritized the safety of his/her descendants, this is an excellent product to help ensure that ones lineage continues for at least the next millennia! Truly, not even Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) will have repulsor rays effective enough to remove these from the wall outlet. Neither will Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk) be able to carefully remove this item without first damaging the entire 70s repeating pattern of abstract shapes wallpaperd off the shizzle. Maybe only Ant-Man with the help of the voluptuous Wasp can successfully pull these from the grips of your grandmas retirement fragrant wall! Feel free to paint and decorate these things with Japanese or Chinese characters that most non-Japanese/Chinese people ignorantly tattoo on their pectoralis major or trapezius! I cannot emphasize how wonderful these things are that even Naruto himself can contain his excitement and had to resort to sage mode! Jiraiya would be proud! (R.I.P)! Lastly, as someone who admittedly has nothing better to do at 1:09am in the morning but to criticize automated/fake reviews on Amazon (see reviews on the Lexar Dual 16 GB SD card pack product with like 1,000 5-Star reviews), and probably should give more attention to his wife at times, please take heed and be careful of erroneous 5-Star Reviews that seem like they were written by an impoverished underage ethnic minority teen in Southeast Asia. Take care! Goodnight!

> 3 dayI needed a bunch of outlet plugs since my little one was going through a phase where he would want to stick his finger into the sockets. I started to get worried especially around the plugs that are in his little play area in the living room. I purchased these since they were reasonably priced and there was a lot, (definitely more than I needed). They are simple outlet plugs, nothing fancy but what I like about them is that they do take a reasonably amount of force to pull the plug out. They sit flush to the outlet, so I have to use my nails to create a gap where I can then use my fingers to pry the plug out. My little one tried at one point to pull the plug out but since it requires a lot of force, he was unsuccessful and moved on. He doesnt even bother with them any more (I guess assuming it is something that cannot be pulled out). Great to not only protect him from getting into the outlets but also, I dont want him taking the plug out and putting it in his mount (choking hazard). Would recommend to any parent.
