We decided to purchase this product because my toddler as most of babies is fascinated with outlets and I was looking for a plug to deter him. The model we purchased before there was a tab to pull and make easier to the parents to remove them out from the outlets. My son realized that and the plug could not deter him at all and It became kind of a toy for him and a problem to us that were looking for safety. Because of the good reviews we opted for this brand. Pros: - Perfect quantity: You get 36 units. For us It was just right to cover the most critical parts of the apartment. - It is flat and there is no tab so my toddler can’t remove It - It is white and Didn’t get yellow. Cons: - I have a hard time myself removing them too but I Don’t mind. Safety first. Strongly recommend this product! .

For the price you cant really go wrong with these outlet plugs. They are extremely easy to install. It seems from reading these reviews the fit varies wildly --- cant either be extremely hard to get it out or easy, or something in between. For me, these plugs are somewhat difficult to get out but i can still do it without the aid of a tool other than my hands/fingernails. For now, while my daughter is still very young, these will work but as she gets older I imagine she will be able to figure out how to pull these out. Hopefully by then she will have lost interest in outlets (one can hope, right?) If you find yours is very hard to get out, I recommend buying a few of these to keep around the house:

This is one of those items where I just bought the cheapest I could find for a large quantity to cover as many outlets as I could. These worked just fine, no complaints. Not sure they are any better or worse than others... I mean it’s a plastic outlet cover...

I didnt need quite that many but I didnt see smaller packs. They install easily. Not sure if little ones can get them out. I have a 2 1/2 yr old and she never messes with them so I cant confirm that.

I bought these to use at our cat shelter as some of the cats are free roaming and there are also outlets in some of the enclosures. They work fine, are a little difficult to get out simply because they fit nice and tight. I would purchase again.

I didnt price compare before ordering these from Amazon, so I am not sure if you get the best/good price here. The product itself is good. You get 36 outlet covers. They slip in well, not too snug, not too loose. It only has two prongs. I am not sure if there are other products that cover a 3rd prong. As far as being low-profile and unnoticeability, this scores not well compared to softer more diffused looking outlet cover products. So, if you are looking for something less noticeable to say someone visiting your house, look around a bit more. If you just want something to keep your kid out of touching power outlets, this is a fine product.

This is the greatest plastic device to shield the youngest of your blindest toddlers from possible death by electrocution! As a helicopter parent who values and prioritized the safety of his/her descendants, this is an excellent product to help ensure that ones lineage continues for at least the next millennia! Truly, not even Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) will have repulsor rays effective enough to remove these from the wall outlet. Neither will Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk) be able to carefully remove this item without first damaging the entire 70s repeating pattern of abstract shapes wallpaperd off the shizzle. Maybe only Ant-Man with the help of the voluptuous Wasp can successfully pull these from the grips of your grandmas retirement fragrant wall! Feel free to paint and decorate these things with Japanese or Chinese characters that most non-Japanese/Chinese people ignorantly tattoo on their pectoralis major or trapezius! I cannot emphasize how wonderful these things are that even Naruto himself can contain his excitement and had to resort to sage mode! Jiraiya would be proud! (R.I.P)! Lastly, as someone who admittedly has nothing better to do at 1:09am in the morning but to criticize automated/fake reviews on Amazon (see reviews on the Lexar Dual 16 GB SD card pack product with like 1,000 5-Star reviews), and probably should give more attention to his wife at times, please take heed and be careful of erroneous 5-Star Reviews that seem like they were written by an impoverished underage ethnic minority teen in Southeast Asia. Take care! Goodnight!

These do the job and are a good price-- BUT they are clear. I thought this was totally fine in the beginning and it was.... until my child could walk and started noticing the plug behind the plastic. If I had to purchase all over again, I would definitely go with a solid white color because it detracts from their interest in what is behind the plastic since you cant see the holes. I definitely have to pull her away from the sockets more than I would like since she can see through them. That said, they do exactly what they are meant to do, so I would recommend.

We got a bunch of these when my guy was little. They were great, until he learned how to pull them out, and then they became a choking hazard. Theyre well made, they dont necessarily break easily, but the little prongs can break off if theyre stepped on. We were in an older apartment, so the inner part of the outlet stuck out a bit, making it easy for my then 18 month old to pull them out and put them in his mouth. He can also open all the doors with child locks, though, so maybe childproofing is just more difficult with him. Hes now two and doesnt try to put anything in the outlets, but when his little sister gets a bit bigger, I think Ill try those self closing cover plates instead.
