I put some of these on a surge protector. The plugs are closer together than an average outlet, so the plastic faces of these actually had to overlap to fit in the plugs. Still does the job though.

We got a bunch of these when my guy was little. They were great, until he learned how to pull them out, and then they became a choking hazard. Theyre well made, they dont necessarily break easily, but the little prongs can break off if theyre stepped on. We were in an older apartment, so the inner part of the outlet stuck out a bit, making it easy for my then 18 month old to pull them out and put them in his mouth. He can also open all the doors with child locks, though, so maybe childproofing is just more difficult with him. Hes now two and doesnt try to put anything in the outlets, but when his little sister gets a bit bigger, I think Ill try those self closing cover plates instead.

After reviewing a ton of outlet plugs I just gambled on these plugs. From reviews of these and others it appears to be a bit of a gamble on any brand. For me in newer (80s plus) construction these fit very firmly and as some reviewers mention are almost too hard to get off. But they were pretty inexpensive but seem of solid quality. For the reviewer who mentioned them melting... I think that is a wiring/outlet problem. My outlets do not get that hot, would make me quite worried about potential fire risk. Overall these worked great and if I need more I will get these again.

This is the greatest plastic device to shield the youngest of your blindest toddlers from possible death by electrocution! As a helicopter parent who values and prioritized the safety of his/her descendants, this is an excellent product to help ensure that ones lineage continues for at least the next millennia! Truly, not even Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) will have repulsor rays effective enough to remove these from the wall outlet. Neither will Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk) be able to carefully remove this item without first damaging the entire 70s repeating pattern of abstract shapes wallpaperd off the shizzle. Maybe only Ant-Man with the help of the voluptuous Wasp can successfully pull these from the grips of your grandmas retirement fragrant wall! Feel free to paint and decorate these things with Japanese or Chinese characters that most non-Japanese/Chinese people ignorantly tattoo on their pectoralis major or trapezius! I cannot emphasize how wonderful these things are that even Naruto himself can contain his excitement and had to resort to sage mode! Jiraiya would be proud! (R.I.P)! Lastly, as someone who admittedly has nothing better to do at 1:09am in the morning but to criticize automated/fake reviews on Amazon (see reviews on the Lexar Dual 16 GB SD card pack product with like 1,000 5-Star reviews), and probably should give more attention to his wife at times, please take heed and be careful of erroneous 5-Star Reviews that seem like they were written by an impoverished underage ethnic minority teen in Southeast Asia. They keep little ones out of the socket. My child has never pulled them off but she hasnt really tried as they are a great deterrent. I have a hard time getting some of them off but thats the point. I would rather that than have my kid pull them off and have two hazards on my hands (a choking hazard and shocking hazard). *update: My now 2.5+ year old could get these off if she wants (it takes work) but she doesnt as they are a deterrent. If I take one off to vacuum she will unplug the cord and put it back in :) So starting early with these on makes it normal to the kid for them to be there.

First and foremost, I gave these 1 star for being easy to remove - but this one star is AMAZING! Nobody wants baby-proofing outlet plugs to be easy to remove!! With that being said, these are THE BEST! They are hard for my husband and myself to remove, which is GREAT! They are clear and are not noticeable at all unless you actually go feel the outlet! I will be buying these for all of the grandparents houses too!! BUY THEM NOW!

Unlike the store bought we had, these outlet covers look like them but have a much better fit in the outlets and easy to remove with a bit of work. Meaning it’s a bit tight in the outlets so a child can’t just slip them off without work and you knowing.

Hard to get out of stock with just hands. You have to use a tool or break your nails and hurt your fingers trying to get it out of the socket. But they do work they an my kid cant remove them cause I barely can so thats an A+ to me.

These do the job they were made for. Easy for adults to remove without my toddler being able to take them out himself. The clear color is discreet on the plug, so it doesn’t stand out.

We had these installed in all of our outlets because we have a very inquisitive one year old granddaughter. We wanted to keep her safe and not risk her getting shocked or worse. There were plenty of outlet plugs in the package; I believe 36 total. They fit the outlets pretty well. Unfortunately, my one year old granddaughter figured out how to pull them out after watching us pull them out a few times. I have replaced all of these outlet plugs within her reach. I still have them in the locations she cant get to such as behind furniture and high wall outlets. Also, I did misplace a few of them when I went to vacuum and that worried me. I didnt worry about a choking hazard as they are pretty large. I just worried about us misplacing or forgetting to replace the plugs and then her coming over and getting hurt. I just wont risk her safety so dont really recommend these. I pride myself on being honest and providing as much detail and information as I can based on my experience with the product. Remember, this is only my opinion and others may have different findings and opinions.
