Greater than one weekThese are very high quality and very light weight at the same time. With proper technique I was able to get two big, relatively stiff off road tires off the bead of my R1200GSA wheels. I recommend these over the forged steel since they are light enough to carry with you and since they are aluminum, you shouldnt scratch up your wheels quite as much. That said, for difficult tires, you will need three big spoons, but those can be had with rim protectors for around $25. However, these are great for debeading, and removing the tire for softer, radial road tires or dirt bike tires only.

> 3 dayNeed to be a little longer for better leverage. Not too much longer though.

> 3 dayI opted for the shorter set of bead breaker for doing my motorcycle tires. I also have a set of ViseGrip C clamps which helped assist in popping the bead lose. I purchased a basic set of tire spoons and plastic rim protectors to help save the painted surface of the rim. Pretty easy to swap tires.

Greater than one weekThis is a good tool. Both breaks the bead, but also helps keep the tire sidewall down in the rim when removing or replacing tire with spoons. Ive used it in the garage to replace 4 tires, worked really good. I have not had to change a tire in the field, but I think it will help me a lot.

Greater than one weekI chose to buy these Aluminum ones over the heavier steel ones. Im glad I made the decision. But the longer length would be nice if weight wasnt an option.

> 3 dayI used these to break the beads on the tires I removed from my motorcycle recently. I also used them as tire irons. They worked well, and the lighter weight , compared to the steel ones, makes them handy to carry on the bike .

> 3 dayBought these to carry on the motorcycle for a trip to Alaska and Canada. I’ve used them to change the bike tires and 4 sets of atv tires in my shop, just to see how they would hold up. Worked great. I’ll be buying the steel set for the shop so I can leave these on the bike.

Greater than one weekDidn’t know there was a difference between the two styles and these aluminum ones are SHORT. If you need ones that actually work for anything bigger than a bicycle tire, get the steel ones.
