Motion Pro 08-0519 BeadPro Tire Bead Breaker and Lever Tool Set

I was under the impression that this popped off all tires but i think it was intended for dirt bike tires. Tried to do my harley tires and ended up using my vice and c clamps to actually break the bead. The other end is a spoon and its too big to use on my rims without bending the sides of the rim down. Kinda useless to me.

Dont get me wrong, these are great for thin-wheeled bikes (i.e. a dirt bike) and bicycles but for cruiser bikes, they just kept slipping right before they broke the bead. In terms of acting as a tire spoon, theyre just too short to provide enough leverage to get over half the bead over.

One of those luxury items that you don’t know you need until you know and then you’ll be cursing yourself for not having a better set.

Ive only used this tool once so far since Ive only changed my front tire on my dual sport bike once. This product not only helps break the bead of the tire, but it also can be used as extra spoons. I always carry this on my motorcycle tool kit.

Shipped quickly, fair price, below what other outlets are charging. Although I havent used these breaker beads I have no doubt this tool set will work. Quality metals, light weight, heavy duty design. Would highly recommend for Adventure Touring when you need to change or repair a tire when the nearest garage is 200 or more miles away.

I have dismounted / mounted 5 tires with these Motion Pro 08-0519 BeadPros so far. At $35 per mount at a bike shop, they have more than paid for themselves. They provide great leverage and are easy to use. The bead breaker function works amazingly well. After a few bites, the bead pops right off. I have the shorter length. They are more than sufficient, but I can see where the longer ones would be worth the extra money. Would absolutely recommend.

Make sure lettering is up facing you for both tools. Take small steps working around the rim. Excellent tool.

Bought these to take on a cross-Canada motorcycle ride my wife and I did. We were riding a 78 GL1000 which takes tubes so I was in the market for a large c-clamp to use as a side of the road bead breaker. Spent $5 more and I was able to get these. In true Motion Pro format the tools were beautifully made and very very light. While I did not have to use them on the trip I have since and they make tire removal a breeze. If you own a motorcycle and still know what a toolbox is these are a must.
