> 24 hourAt first I couldn’t get this to work but the Motorola team helped me several days (when I had the time to work on it) until it was fixed. I almost put 4 stars due to it not being as easy to install as the directions said. Pay very close attention to this part. On your incoming line from outside, if the coaxial splitter is not 1200mhz or higher, it will not work. Took us a while to figure out that was one of the reasons. I had to go out and buy a 1.5Ghz splitter and that helped a lot. This is not at fault to the device itself. Most cable companies install a basic one and I have 1Gig internet service and that’s what it came with. If you have any issues, trust me, you can call or email the Motorola team and they will take as long as you need to get it fixed. Their customer service alone deserves the 5 stars and now that we got this thing working it deserves more than 5 stars.

> 24 hourI have my servers installed in my garage, but the modem/router/switch are installed upstairs. Luckily, this house is old and each room has a separate coax run. I simply connected a coax splitter on the end going to the ISP so that I could connect the MoCA on the server side on the run going up to the router. Then I connected another splitter on the upstairs end with the MoCA connected to one end and the other split going to the modem. This means that on one end, the signal for internet runs through the coax as well as the signal from the server MoCA up to the upstairs. Meanwhile, on the other end, the other MoCA device finds the garage device and the resulting ethernet is plugged into the switch while the modem still receives the signal from the ISP. I get around 80 megaBYTES per second transfer speeds from the server to my computer through my gigabit switch while my internet speed are unaffected during simultaneous transfers. Very low latency, I am running minecraft servers and UMS without any noticeable lag. Somewhat expensive, but definitely cheaper than paying someone to run low voltage runs inside your walls.

> 24 hourI recently had 1 gig fiber internet hooked up. My office is on the 2nd floor and I did not want a wire running up the side of my house. So I had the tech install the fiber connection in the basement. I am using these Moca adapters to get near full speed 2 floors up. I have speed tested at over 900 Mbps multiple times. I purchased a 3rd adapter so I could put another WiFi router on my main floor. Working great for me.

> 24 hourFollowed the instructions included with the product, in tandem with a more generic MoCA guide I found online. Setup was a breeze, and I typically struggle with anything network-related. No issues with speed or network stability.

> 24 hourThis has worked great in the living room where I have weak WiFi signal in the house. I attached it to a router and use it as an access point to connect an Xbox and a TV directly and now I don’t have to worry about losing connection to the internet.

> 24 hourOur service provider is Comcast/XFinity. My son was able to set this up on his own in 10 minutes. It was VERY simple. I did recommend this to a co-worker as well. His service provider is Cox. He did have to maker a call to them after setting it up, to enable this in his home. The general rule is if your cable router has a coax connection, and is connected, you have a 95% chance of this working with one MoCA. If not, you may have to buy a second. The ability to use the existing coax in lieu of running ethernet all over the place is excellent.

> 24 hourI run closed to wire connections with this (1 or 2 ping higher then straight Ethernet). Super easy to set up

> 24 hourI wanted to get full bandwidth to my work computers, and WiFi wasnt cutting it. Since the computers are in a fixed location most of the time, a wired connection was desired, but running CAT5 through the walls was not an option I was willing to pursue. Since the house is wired for CATV, this solution was perfect. As the photos show, the speed on wired is nearly the max of our system (300mbs/24mbs) on the wired connection. Highly recommended, will buy additional if other rooms ever need Ethernet.

> 24 hourSwitched from powerline ethernet adaptors and noticed a difference in speed and reliability in signal.
