This are very substantially made. Other sink strainers we have bought are thin metal and have sharp edges. These are wonderful. Such a good purchase!

I have used the mesh screens before, they do last and end up corroding and or falling apart which have cut us when a wire stick out. These on the other-hand are very durable, come in a three pack which is great and sit perfectly in the drain. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to stop their drains from getting clogged and then having a smelling sink!

I’ll never buy another set of those aluminum-edged screen things from the grocery store utility aisle again. These things are the Lexus, the BMW, the Cadillac of strainers. They fit right: flat to the surface, nothing sneaking beneath the edge. They catch everything: food scraps, cat hair (yeah. It gets everywhere), fish bones. They lift out very easily, because the rim is sturdy and thick enough. One little smack against the trash bin, and they let go of whatever they’re holding. Stick them in the dishwasher and they come out sparkling clean and ready for another day. Iv

This is a great sink strainer because it catches all the stuff but doesnt clog like previous strainers I have used.

Easy to clean. Sometimes the water doesn’t come through and it keeps the drainer stuck, so a little handle to help to pull it out on the top wouldn’t hurt. Otherwise, great product.
