> 3 dayThe product itself is great. Great quality, sleep tracking is awesome, BUT, to unlock its full potential you need a $250/YEAR(!!!) subscription… With the camera price point, I would think the subscription would be max $100/year.

> 3 dayI love our Nanit camera system. We have the wall mounted version bought plus travel stand and case. The insights have helped us with sleep training and management. The travel stand we use all of the time when we s sleep away from home. The night vision picture quality is really sharp. And I use the video history feature all the time to see how our baby slept through the night. It’s definitely helped us learn her sleep patterns and adjust her bedtimes/wake ups.

> 3 dayReally enjoy the sleep tracking and tips for sleep. Really enjoy the portable easy of the monitor. Dislike that it has to be up 60” and in the center of the crib to get the sleep tracking. Love that you can split screen now too!

10-06-2025TL/DR: don’t buy they refuse replace the device and support is lacking empathy and troubleshooting skills. We bought this device after doing hours and hours of research saying this is the best monitoring device to use over Wi-Fi. We have a HUGE problem where we can not hear if the baby is making any noise on my wife and my phone. The sound does not come through. The only way we get it to work is if we unplug everything and do a hard reset of the camera and then sound comes back for 1-2 more uses and then stops working. Which you can imagine trying to put your child to sleep moving his crib to unplug and replug in the camera to the outlet big problem. (I work in IT) I did what anyone in IT would do before reaching out to support. Which is finding all the online forms that had possible solutions. Trying all solutions which included reinstalled their app on both my phone and my wife’s resetting the device to factory settings. Making sure everything up to date. But issue persisted. Found their support on Nanit website went through all their troubleshooting. Wrote a novel to Nanit support of everything I already tried. Next thing their CX support team does is ask me all the same questions that I already answered. But when I let them know it’s still not working. When I asked for a new device they completely ignored me and ghosted me. The whole time their support would only respond once a day which is even more annoying as this has been happening for a month now.

> 3 dayYeah, there are cheaper monitors out there, but for a data guy like me Nanit gave me a ton of insight as my babys sleep patterns evolved in those early months. It automatically tracks things like wake ups and visits to help plan for weaning off night feedings. Also used the breathing band when she first got RSV, which helped me sleep with peace of mind that the app would wake me if things went south.

> 3 dayHas great picture quality, and we love all the special features like the breathing band, and being able to measure our little one. We sleep better knowing our little one is safe while we sleep.
