NAR6595A NAR6595 Motorola Original APX 764-870 MHz Single-Band GPS Stubby Antenna

Have it on a Motorola apx 7000. Works same as longer stock one that came on it. Same oem quality.

If your APX radio has a huge foot long antenna, simply unscrew it and replace with this little guy. It’s genuine Motorola. Ensure your current antenna is stamped 700-800 MHz GPS. If not, this isn’t the stubby version of your antenna. Even if it is a match, KEEP your original antenna with you in your beat bag. While this stubby antenna gets excellent reception, it’s not going to be able to work in dead spots. Most the officers I work with switched to this antenna and haven’t looked back.

Works great, mostly. There is some diminished/minimal reception in certain buildings that the full size motorola would still have adequate reception. In normal conditions, performs equal to the large one. Havent had any issues from dispatch. Great price too!

The product arrived quickly and it was easy to install on my radio. Unfortunately I was having trouble receiving transmissions on my radio due to the fact that the antenna had separated from the base that screwed into the radio. I had to use a set of pliers to remove the screw piece to attach my old antenna back on.

Love the size of this but the signal is not as good as the factory one. It works really well in close range but farther out it doesnt do as well as the longer one

Works pretty good. You lose a little on the reception but not too bad.

Been using thls antenna for some time now with no issues. Had ordered a cheaper brand that didnt work. This is a good antenna. Worth the extra cost. It is good quality.
