> 3 dayWell, this thing already has 18,000 5-star reviews so Im not sure what else I can add. It Works great! Not sure if my review will matter, but it deserves 5 stars or more, so why not leave a review.... Power supply included. Just plug it in, plug in one line from you router to any port, and plug all your other stuff into any other empty port. Thats it. Could not be any easier. And only $20!!

> 3 dayUsed to upgrade existing home Ethernet network for new higher speed fiber optic cable service. Working great at 200 Mb/sec on older CAT5e wired network.

> 3 dayI had an older 8-channel ethernet switch which seemed to have occasional dropouts. It was also running warm. This was truly plug and play. I did not have to anything other than plug it into an AC outlet then plug in the ethernet cables and it worked as it was supposed to.

Greater than one weekThis is my go-to ethernet switch. I use several switches of this model throughout my house to supply all rooms with gigabit ethernet connections. These switches are critical since nearly everyone works from home now. Only an old 5-port Netgear switch has ever failed, and even then it was probably because I wasnt using any sort of UPS or surge protector. So I cant really blame it all that much. But since using UPSs on all critical electronics, they have never again failed.

> 3 dayRecently I upgraded my service to 1gbit. My WiFi card maxes out around 350mbit, so I needed to run an ethernet cable. Only issue is the only drop I had was in the next room going to another device. So I turned that drop into a backhaul by plugging it into this switch. It now feeds 2 devices and on my PC I am easily able to hit the full 1gbit speeds. Cat6a cable all the way from my PC to the router. Device is low power and doesnt get hot which is a plus. Though I did notice a high pitched noise when no devices were attached and the device first powered up. Seems to have gone away after being powered for some time with devices connected. So far no complaints with this switch.

> 3 dayI have many switches I use for NVR Video surveillance, and high end hone network testing, local backups and large file transfers. I got this as a backup but wound up using for redundancy to my network! It is managed but I use it out of the box as unmanaged and works great! Im not a huge netgear fan for routers, however their switches are first class for large scale home / small business use.. I needed tech support on a different switch that was out of warrantee but running behind this one which was covered, I was surprised at how really helpful their support was to not just help me with my one issue but providing a very quick solution for me that made sense as they really knew their stuff, just took them understanding exactly what my goal was and im very grateful they really helped me out, but this switch for the money is rock solid and would buy more, and would recommend to a friend, customer, anybody who needs an unmanaged switch or a managed one with limited options but some customization if needed, though always works right out of the box after all kinds of routers, ip addresses subnet changes, it immediately adapts and kicks right into new settings like a breeze!! Great product!
