I think this game is awesome, Im a 19-year old player and Ive had so much fun playing it. Read below : Pros: - The worlds are great - The mini games are great - The music and sound are kinda cool ! - Graphis are cool too Cons : - In general, this game is kinda short ! But for younger players, you might take a longer while to finish it. - My touch pad is a little bit screwed up, so Ive had problems troughout the game when trying to touch it to get a new item. But if yours is Ok, then go ahead and buy it. This one worths it !!

I was looking for several DS games at reasonable prices. The game functions as intended, and included its original case as well.

The one issue I have with the game, is that if you lose all five lives the game starts over and you have to start from the beginning again which becomes very annoying and frustrating. Other than that the game is packed with fun features! I mean, the games are fun and original, and the mini games! they are the bomb! Your children will spend hours playing this addicting game! So cheak it out! Youll be glad you did.

Even though my order came with no case as expected . The game work fine it is still the fun that I remember when I was 13.

I purchased my 12 year old daughter a DS for Christmas and wanted to purchase a game that would grow with her. She is entering an awkward age, between being a child and being a teenager. As soon as her 14 year old brother found out she had the game, he could be found sneeking into her room and testing it for her. My young nephew (who is 6), also got this game for his DS and loves it. So if your looking to invest because these can be pricey, this is the game for you.

Like all these over priced cartridges my kids love them for a month or so and then grow tired of it. I did ask my kids what they thought of the game before writing this review (6 and 9). They simply gave me the standard answer, Its OK, its fun. However, I can tell my 9 year old daughter has outgrown the meager value and simplistic nature of the DS. Sorry for the poor product review, but the majority of these Mario games all look about the same considering the very grainy graphics, 2 square screen and 2D play. Its a good time waster for my kids while driving, but I have realized that the screen is so small that they are often straining from 12 inches away to see the characters. To be flat out honest, I dont know why anybody would pay $200 for a DS when you can by a 7 tablet for the same amount of money. I dont sell electronics for a living but the tablets have significantly more capability, power, appealing graphics and most important - Free software! I thought size was the primary issue for buying the DS, but all my sons friends have crash cases which make carrying their DS similar to carring around a brick. I didnt buy the DS for my kids, but I did buy the cartridge used on Amazon. It was packaged, looks and works like new for one-third the price. Apparently thousands of kids that are much older than my kids love the DS device and all the Mario games. I wish someone could explain to me why compared to other devices and products on the market that are much more capable and cheaper to play.

Along with purchasing the DS I also purchased this Super Mario Bros. The game has so many levels and screens. My son enjoys how small the games are. Now he has a storage box to keep everything in.

This game is primarily played by my 6 year old. He enjoys it and finds it challenging but fun. You have to help Mario rescue the princess from the evil turtle, Bowser. Hes never made it all the way through the game yet, but he may be a bit younger than the age group Nintendo was aiming for. Give him time! He said he did kill Bowser once, and for that he is quite proud, but he came back to life.

New Super Mario Bros. is a great game. Though its not the first Super Mario Bros. game to hit the DS (Super Mario 64 DS is different since its, well, Super Mario 64, just remade, but its a very good game too), its still a must have game when purchasing a DS. There are plenty of Worlds to play through for those that want a good singleplayer experience, but it also has a Mario vs. Luigi mode that lets you play wireless with a friend nearby (No Wi-fi though), as well as a few minigames (Some if not all taken from Super Mario 64 DS) to add a change of pace from the usual Goomba-stomping and Coin-grabbing runs you usually play. In short, a great game to have, a definite buy if youre into Mario and platformers.

This game was a big deal at the time of its release. It was a return to the traditional side-scrolling Mario with new and creative elements to bring everyones favorite Italian plumber into the modern age. Unfortunately, I picked the game up many years after the fact. In light of games like Mario 3D Land and 3D World, this game feels a little stale. Its still enjoyable, as all Mario games are, but feels more nostalgic than anything else. Its also a rather short game, so keep that in mind if youre a gamer looking for a long playtime. I would definitely recommend for DS or 3DS owners who havent played it, but there are many better Mario games out there at this point.
