New Super Mario Bros

I have a Nintendo ds and also a Nintendo switch but in my opinion this is the best version of Mario Bros ever!

This game is primarily played by my 6 year old. He enjoys it and finds it challenging but fun. You have to help Mario rescue the princess from the evil turtle, Bowser. Hes never made it all the way through the game yet, but he may be a bit younger than the age group Nintendo was aiming for. Give him time! He said he did kill Bowser once, and for that he is quite proud, but he came back to life.

Arrived promptly, was the product it was supposed to be. Its mario what more can you say?

After getting addicted to New Super Mario Bros for Wii, I was excited to see it available for my DS and hoped it would match up for on the go Mario. It does! It is lots of addictive fun and very much like the Wii game with a few minor changes. Still has similar worlds to conquer and a few fun differences like when you get a giant Mario who can take care of everything. If you like Mario Bros...and you liked the NEW one on Wii, you will love this!

As a 90s kids, I just had to have this. Its similar to the old Mario games in many ways, with a few exceptions to modernize it. The graphics are great and smooth, tons of levels and gameplay, and its not too easy either, which was nice. I was concerned that it would be ridiculously easy. The controls were a little difficult to get used to at first, but once you do - you realize its set up perfectly. I only wish they would actually bring back some retro games to the DS, like Super Mario World. That would be great! Definitely recommend if you need a nostalgic Mario fix.

There are sometimes where you look at classic video games, and how much theyve impacting the gaming industry. While there are great games out there that have been well-receieved like Halo, Doom, Madden 06, and others thatve really shown a great depth of universal appeal. That has definitely also been the case with Mario. Since 1981, as Jumpman in Donkey Kong, Mario has been the most universal of all the video game characters and personas ever, and continues to develop with the times. That also has been shown with the Nintendo DS as well. The breakout success of Nintendos latest handheld system has really been a great transition to how we play video games on hand with the stylus, and appeal of the dual screen action. Now, Mario is set to have that classic feeling all over again.

I bought this for my son for his DSi XL that came with the Mario Kart game. He liked that game so much, I thought he might like to play this one as well. HE LOVES IT!! I actually have to limit his time on it or hed play all day. In fact its so much fun that I sneak to play after he goes to bed. (I know,I know)But it brings back memories of the old school Nintendo from when I was a kid but better. Anyway, There are eight levels (worlds)to go through to rescue the princess. It is easy to play even for the younger ones, the graghics are great, the sound it good, the length of the game is very good for the age range it is intended for. It might be too short for a serious player but my child would get completely frustrated if it were any longer to get through each little land. To the point- Great game, well worth buying and so much fun!!

I bought this game several years ago when the DS first came out. My comment here is about Amazons search engine. I specifically stated PS4 games.... yet Amazon threw that request out the window and brought up games for ALL systems! I guess Amazon must have a webmaster with an IQ in the low 2 digit range! THIS particular game is good for the DS, but I wasnt looking for DS games....the first two pages were everything EXCEPT PS4 games!! What a doofus he or she must be!!!

This is a great Mario game. Really took the original 8 bit Mario bros and added to it. I love the game play and so do the kids. This is the second copy of this game so they can play against each other in 2 player. 2 player is fun and exciting. For you Mario Bros fans this is a keeper. Highly recommend

This is a well made game. Its not as good as Super Mario 3 on the original NES, but it plays kind of similarly Im not really used to hand-held gaming, but I suppose Ill get used to it. The game only offers two different button configurations, and neither of them is the one I would prefer. Me, I have a little trouble with the game because I only get to play pretty rarely, but it is fun and most players will have a good time I think. It is far superior to some other games for the ds/3ds because of its gameplay mechanics and whatnot. Other side-scrollers should strive for this level of playability.
