New Super Mario Bros

I purchased my 12 year old daughter a DS for Christmas and wanted to purchase a game that would grow with her. She is entering an awkward age, between being a child and being a teenager. As soon as her 14 year old brother found out she had the game, he could be found sneeking into her room and testing it for her. My young nephew (who is 6), also got this game for his DS and loves it. So if your looking to invest because these can be pricey, this is the game for you.

This game is so much fun. It would be a plus if there was more cool features but it had plenty, i guess i am just being greedy because this is a game i played when i was growing up and now its nice to play it again with better graphics and other improvements. oh and most importantly, you can play with your friends multi player game option thats going to keep you guys busy for hours- laughing and screaming, its great!- its too much to explain in terms of what makes the multi player so awesome but it is, it really really is.

This game dummy lit. I dont know if I can attain three stars on a file though, Ive got all the star coins from all the worlds and have unlocked all the secrets but I still dont have three stars on the file. Its p rough and Im kinda confused.

What is there not to like about this game. Fun for all ages. This is easily one of the best games for DS. As old as it is, it would be a great gift for someone with a DS that has not played it yet. The beauty of this game is simple platforming. Jumping on things, great colorful environments. Good for ages 7 and up. Only because of the game mechanics.

Love this game reminds me of when I first got my first game still stuck on one level but its worth having keeps me busy to keep my mind ging

This is a well made game. Its not as good as Super Mario 3 on the original NES, but it plays kind of similarly Im not really used to hand-held gaming, but I suppose Ill get used to it. The game only offers two different button configurations, and neither of them is the one I would prefer. Me, I have a little trouble with the game because I only get to play pretty rarely, but it is fun and most players will have a good time I think. It is far superior to some other games for the ds/3ds because of its gameplay mechanics and whatnot. Other side-scrollers should strive for this level of playability.

Luv the game it never gets old for me. I use it on my 3 DS XL although the 3D doesnt applt on this game since its an older version.

New Super Mario Bros. is a great game. Though its not the first Super Mario Bros. game to hit the DS (Super Mario 64 DS is different since its, well, Super Mario 64, just remade, but its a very good game too), its still a must have game when purchasing a DS. There are plenty of Worlds to play through for those that want a good singleplayer experience, but it also has a Mario vs. Luigi mode that lets you play wireless with a friend nearby (No Wi-fi though), as well as a few minigames (Some if not all taken from Super Mario 64 DS) to add a change of pace from the usual Goomba-stomping and Coin-grabbing runs you usually play. In short, a great game to have, a definite buy if youre into Mario and platformers.

Now Nintendo went and made one of this most popular handheld games on the Nintendo ds besides the legend of Zelda ones but this game beats them all new super Mario bros . this game was a launch title for the ds and its still popular because you cant beat a Mario game because wants you start playing you cant stop thats how fun these games are but this game is hard you have to collect coins to fully finish a level theres 3 in each and it only saves after you finish the castle. are if you collect enough coins and your at a mushroom you need 5 coins for that plus they have minigames that you can play instead of the game in the beginning so have fun with this game i recommend it to any video game fan are who likes to play games because its for everyone.

My husband and I purchased this game along with the nintendo dsi for our daughters 7th birthday. After needing a little bit of guidance from her daddy and how to get through a certain part of the game he has completely taken over lol, which is odd because my husband is SOOO NOT a gamer! But here I am, by request, to buy him his very own copy so he and my daughter will have their own and no one misses out on game play. By far the best ds game we have ever purchased!
