> 3 dayit is a very good game. a lot like the original Mario Bros. for the first Nintendo system. the levels look very similar to the first mario game. the difference is that mario has more abilities than he did in the original game and the graphics are pretty good. he can jump a lot higher, he can store an item for later use, and jump of walls to reach higher places. the items are cool too. there is one mushroom that makes you very big and you can crush things. another mushroom that makes you super small and light weight so you can jump super high and fit into tiny spaces.there is also a shell mario can where in underwater levels that helps him swim faster. this game keeps you very entertained because there are alot of secret levels and its fun trying to find them. but if you wanna take a break from the actual game there are a lot of mini games you can play that are kinda like the Mario Party games and they are very fun too. you can even battle against other DS players. this game has a lot of elements from the older and newer mario games and i think it is a good game for mario fans of all ages.

> 3 dayIts a pretty fun game but only for a little while. I actually wish I rented this or borrowed it from a friend first because I completed it in several days (which is a total shock for me because I have always been terrible at Mario! Love Mario but terrible at it.). What really put me off in the beginning was that in order to save the game, you had to defeat a tower, defeat a castle, or spend star coins to open paths to Mushroom houses. Youre forced to play a lot of levels in one sitting or put your DS on sleep mode if you absolutely have to walk away from the game at the moment. At least after you complete the entire game, youre able to save at any time. Theres a lot of frustration that comes with it as well. For example, to enter World 4 or World 7, you have to defeat the bosses in World 2 or World 5 as Mini Mario. Other than that, once you finish the main game, theres nothing left to do but figure out alternate routes on a couple levels and collect star coins you missed the first time around. I just think [...]+ was a tad too much to pay for this game.

Greater than one weekI know the name might sound a little weird, but New Super Mario Bros. is a great 2D side scrolling adventure. It all just kind of feels right. There are 8 worlds standard stuff your ice world, desert world, the usual, but they have added some new stuff like these coins that are hidden throughout ever level, there are three in each level. There are two new kinds of mushrooms that you can get one makes you giant and destroy everything in your path which is really very satisfying, and the other turns you into a tiny Mario and lets you get to places that you wouldnt be able to if you were big. The game might seem a little on the short side if you just run through it without getting some of the harder coins or unlocking 2 of the worlds that you can just skip if you really wanted to, but you probably wont. the games about 4 hours long just going through then going back and starting to get all the coins you realize how much stuff there is to get everything it can take in upwards of 20 hours, but you dont have to do that to make the game feel complete you just really need to unlock all most of the levels and beat Bowser. All in all it feels like a really good experience.

> 3 dayRecently found my DS and all I can think was, I need to play some Super Mario Brothers. Was very happy to find it on Amazon. Definitely good memories playing this game and I was like a kid ripping open the package to scratch that itch. Everything I hoped for and exceeded expectations.

> 3 dayIve always been a fan of the original SMB for the NES & arcade. Who hasnt or isnt? The graphics are amazing, very colorful. The music is classic SMB done right. The play controls are tight and precise. There are numerous secrets to be found and the replayability is very high. There are some gamers who say the game is too easy. There are some areas that are, but the difficulty is just right in my opinion. The fun factor is out of this world, I wont reveal anything here, you have to play this game and experience it for yourself. Very highly recommended for SMB fanatics everywhere.

> 3 dayMario has class, more then I can say for anyone here in the United States has. This land has nothing but dung in it. If you would only look at them here, you would see what I mean. They need to find the flusher, and fast. They want leave me and my Nintendo alone. O dear God how much longer?

Greater than one weekAlong with purchasing the DS I also purchased this Super Mario Bros. The game has so many levels and screens. My son enjoys how small the games are. Now he has a storage box to keep everything in.

19-11-2024My family loves this Super Mario Bros game. I purchased it back in 2014. I played nintendo Super Marios growing up, so when I saw this, I bought for more kids, when I knew that I myself wanted to play this game. I love playing it with my kids. We have four Wii remotes, so I can play with my three kids (ages 14,12, and 9). We have playing it off and on for the last two years. We have solved it, but yet they still continue to play it. When they have friends over, this is the game that the play with most on the Wii. Sometimes they argue (you took my mushroom, you took my flower, etc), but overall we all have fun and work together to search for the coins and pass each world. If you ever played Mario brothers growing up, then you will defiantly want to give this game a try.
