Night Owl Security Camera Power Adapter with 4-Way Power Splitter

When my Night Owl camera system died, I assumed it was the DVR. I replaced it with no luck, then realized the camera power supply was dead. Ordered this and fixed the problem immediately. Well, at least now I have a spare DVR.

replaced same unit for cameras in security system (NightOwl from Costco). For whatever reason, both the DVR power supply and Camera power supply failed just a few weeks from each other. Now I have replaced both and unit works fine again. This one was putting out ~1 amp and it needs 2. Cameras and night vision were blinking on and off from lack of power. Original power supplies only lasted 9 months each... hopefully this last longer. Wasnt worth the warranty effort to deal with company- easier to buy them here.

Lost a power supply to a surge from a power outage. This was a direct plug and play replacement for my Night Owl system. A few minutes to swap the impacted cords and things are up and running.

This is not an original product. It came in unmarked packaging. It did not have any of the packaging, markings or labeling of the original product I was attempting to replace. Do not buy! And it DID NOT work!!! Returned it for a refund within 15 min of installing it. The cable splitter didnt even fully connect properly.

Im having to keep buying these 5months to a year. They keep going out, I lose picture and the screen goes out. I tried the 4 adapter. Then I tried the 8 adapter. I bought new plugs too and the same thing keeps happening. Im ready to throw all this out the door. Im not happy...

UPDATE: good customer service. Refunded and Ill order another one. I bumped it to 3 stars for that. Needed these power splitters to connect my cameras. I lost the original. At first they worked ok, not a solid connection but once it was set it was fine. Lately I notice distortion in cameras. Once I started messing with the power cables trying to get a solid connection, all the cams started cutting in and out. Now that I at least have them all showing a picture, most of the cams quality is very grainy and terrible. Ill see if I can exchange or return, but probably too late. Problems started 2 weeks in.
