È un mostro questa lente, è nitidissima e ha un bokeh molto elevato, messa a fuoco non veloce, perfetto nei ritratti e nella street photography.

Simply the best portrait lenses Ive used on a full frame Nikon. I wanted a sharp lens that can be shot wide open for good subject isolation with a narrow depth of field and this lens fits that role.

Etwas abgeblendet sehr scharf bis zu den Ecken, nicht zu groß, leicht, preiswert ... alles gut.

I bought this for my wifes birthday. Shes been requesting an 85mm lens for a while, and after reading reviews of other hardware, I eventually went with this lens. Now Im by no means qualified to get into the nitty gritty, so Ill leave that to the resident photogs. For the other lay-people thinking of getting this lens:

I love the 85mm focal length for portrairs in general, and feel that at least this much focal length is absolutely needed for head shot type portraits to avoid the perspective distortion that a shorter focal length will cause to facial features. In combination with the f1.8 aperture, you can create extremely shallow depth of field. This lens is also very sharp with lots of contrast wide open at f1.8 with no sherical aberration (haze) and minimal chromatic aberration, at a much lower level than lesser lenses.
