Amazing lens! Got this in favour of the 1.4, and im extremely happy I did. The 1.4 is good, but for 1/3 the price, this lens is stellar! Colour rendition, sharpness, just overall marvellous lens!

Excelente lente para retratos. Ligero, práctico, rápido. Permite controlar la profundidad de campo a gusto, comparado con el 70-200 2.8 y en 80mm, funciona mejor al ser más ligero y tener más apertura de f.

This lens is the 3rd new buy in 2 weeks. I bought it for portrait work primarily. I can attest to its brilliant sharp focus on the subject with bokeh falling straight away if that is what you want. Sturdy build. Easy to work with. Totally recommend.

I bought this lens a few months ago and have had the opportunity to use it on every single photo shoot Ive done since then. I cannot seem to take it off my camera! It is now my new favorite lens! Bokeh is great. Speed is right where I need it. Highly recommend over the price tag of the 1.4G!
