I had a wooden sand bath before this one and was so tired of the urine soaking into the wood. I knew it was going to need to be replaced soon so I came across this one in my Hamster Facebook group. I purchased it right away as it was not made of wood, would not hold the urine smell, and fit perfectly in my cage for my Syrian. Every since this was purchased, my Syrian has not pottied anywhere else except while running on his wheel. I now have two hamsters and need another one for my second baby. I will recommend these to anyone who needs a sand bath. The top is even easy to clean and doesnt stain.

It fits in my hamsters cage perfectly. Its easy to take in and out of the cage for easy cleaning. I have a syrian hamster and she fits in it with lots of room. So if you have a syrian hamster.....this is the best sand bath to go with.

I fill it about half full of sand and my hamster runs through it all the time. I wondered why this had a half lid. Well as it turns out my hamster loves to run under the lid for some privacy. Really glad I got it.

Much bigger than it appears.

High quality product to hold sand for gerbils. Love that it sits in the corner. The top helps keep the bedding out of the sand. I plan on buying another one for our other tank too.

We love this, it is a great size, but it will not fit with where our tunnel is in the cage. MEASURE first! It also seems to scratch easily with the sand, not sure how this would look after awhile.

This is a great hamster sand bath! Its a decent size for hamsters to roll around and and it comes with a lid that covers half of the bowl. Its too big if you have a beginners cage, but if you have a cage thats about 40in in length and 13in in width and depth, its the perfect size plus more room for your hamster.

I really loved this brands wheel, but this just wasnt close to how good the quality of the wheel was. I thought the container was going to be really firm, but the plastic is pretty thin and felt like something I couldve just gotten at the dollar store. I would honestly just recommend getting one of those plastic fish carriers because theyre cheaper and more sturdy.

Syrian hamster loves it and uses frequently.
